The accounting equation is an algebraic equation. And if we remember our math we know that the balance the equation always has to stay in Balance so whatever one side has to equal whatever on the other side. So in order for the equation to stay in balance you have to do the opposite when you're on the other side of the equation. I had to figure that out myself as well because my accounting professor was a CPA and he just said to do remote memorization and my brain does not work with remote memorization it has to make sense I have to understand the why. And that is why and I was so happy when I figured it out🎉🎉😂

I had founded a company 22 years ago and have fired many CPAs because of their horrible communication and scores of other reasons. I finally decided that I would do my own books. Speed ahead and I liked it so much I decided to go back and be a CPA. Am on that path and love every minute of it. I am determined to be the good communicator in the field to make it better as a whole. I think there is a huge shift in the profession that is driving the bar to be raised in customer service and actually talking with clients, planning, strategizing as part of the fees. Just my opinion, but these talents make the added value to the service outweigh the CPA fees, making the customer much more satisfied with what they are getting. I think a lot of customers felt overcharged and underwhelmed with CPA services.

Totally worth it. The student loans for Atty's and Physicians are going to be astronomically higher than for a potential CPA. Yes, you could argue that the "ceilings" for those other professions are "higher", but that is not a given by any means. The "CPA" still carries a lot of weight, although there are a ton of naysayers out there who like to denigrate the credential and say that it's "time has passed". Those people are mostly insecure whiners who don't have the motivation to study for the exam. Obtaining the CPA credential is a great "bang for the buck" endeavor. Without CPA's, you don't have functioning businesses or stock markets. They are absolutely essential to process. The biggest reason they don't routinely achieve the "status" of Attorneys and Physicians is because the day to day work lacks the "glamour and sizzle", and "drama" of the other two. But it is technically rigorous and critical to business. They are not handing out that certificate on street corners, it is a high hurdle, which is why it is still respected and always will be.

However, according to the description in the website of NASBA, A three-year baccalaureate completed outside the U.S. is not equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree.. I need to do my level 3 & 4 then ACCA which is the equivalent of CPA. What would I need to enrol in an America course to get the same credits. I want to become a CPA in Washington DC but I need these credits and I don't quite understand them they are semester hours or somehting like that.
