Plantago major, peppermint oil, coconut oil . Crush plantago and peppermint into a small pot. Add coconut oil (or coconut butter) and simmer on low for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Fill salve tins. Massage into entire bag and teat area once a day after feeding kids. Plantago is a drawing herb with amazing healing properties. It is also antimicrobial and antifungal. Peppermint is a soothing herb that helps relax tissue.

We had 7 mamas this year and 3 with congested udders. I had read that high doses of vitamin C and lots of massaging help. I bought human vitamin C gummies and am giving 1,000 milligrams daily and after 3 days they are soft and hand milkable! I had tried everything, hot Epsom salt compresses, massaging with tea tree, lavender oil in coconut oil. But the best thing was the vitamin C! It's so frustrating, but you got this! Love your channel!
