Good on you for stopping to do what makes you miserable and good luck for what's next. My own history with Wows was a goodbye by installments: For years I quit, then I came back, in most cases because I watched some Kots and was reminded of how good the game could be and then trying to play it I would be reminded of how bad it also is and quit again. I'm quite sure I'm finally done this time, because the last time I tried to play must be more than a year ago now, maybe even two. Key was realizing a simple fact: All the things that annoy the most about the game are there to stay. It's not going to get better, ever, so there's no point in waiting for it.

It's a shame to see you go, you were so freaking talented and had a lot of really insightful videos. However I can very much empathise with the frustrations of a really shitty company slowly but surely strangling to death, a once amazing game and turning it into the hollow husk it is today. All the best with your future endeavours and congrats on leaving the cesspool

Yup make sense man, you been playing for so long and have seen it all by now, their promises are empty and they either just don't understand their own game or just don't give enough fucks to fix it. I quit like 6 months ago and never looked back, I still watch a few videos here and there but have zero desire to play. They butchered it. Since 2021 I was just pushing myself to play as well and as you said it just makes you miserable imagine playing video games that end up making you miserable nah man. Good for you dude. Enjoy doing the things you love. Cya 👋

I quit about 7 months ago. I was a Beta player with thousands of games and had a lot of ships with a few now removed ships. The game has got so unbalanced and Wargaming just don't care any more. I missed the game for about 2 months, but now, just don't care any more.

I was 3000h active in Heroes and General (now defunct), about 1000h in WoWs & 50h in WoT. I'm just done with Beta Online games. I want stability in the game I'm playing, I love fix, but I hate update. New overpowered premium ship, nerf/buff stats and introducing beta mechanic (submarine & carrier). Fully quit around 2020, after back & forth from 2015.

Thank you very much for your help and the entertainment! And I can 100% understand anyone who makes this decision. I only play minimally and if I do, it's almost only clan battles. I think Wargaming is sinking its own product, which is a real shame, but if you look at the development over the last few months and years, then you have to come to that conclusion. And I can't see that Wargaming is at least trying to change something, everything seems to be OK for them.

Thank you for your content! Im also more or less on and off on WOWS...its too bad to take it seriously. Every few months I play a bit and the fact that I pretty much stacked all the resources allows me to never "grind"...but I would not recommend this game to anybody. Like you said, its getting shittier in every possible aspect. Hard to believe that a company with such an unique product with so much potential tries so hard to shovel it but here we are. I will probably also sell my account at some point :) See you around!

yeah i can sympathise with this. i've got over 3k hours in it and most times i log in, i just look at the ships in port for a moment and exit the game. real life playing with my dog is much more fun. i haven't even bothered getting all the snowflakes last time, this game is just unpleasant to play nowdays and i doubt it'll get any better. take care mate
