Thank you for this video. That was the reason for my divorce from my husband. (born and raised in Morocco). I think it was easier for me to understand the truth because I converted to Islam 3 years ago, so I wasn't instilled with Sunni doctrine from birth. I look back on it now, but Allah guided me on the path of truth from the beginning. I remember my husband talking to me about Islam from a Sunni perspective. I had a great blockade to say the second part of the Sunni shahada by mentioning Mohamed's name. I thought to myself: Allah knows who the messenger is, we don't have to prove it to him, and then I got the surah 63:1 "When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muḥammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allāh." And Allāh knows that you are His Messenger, and Allāh testifies that the hypocrites are liars". My ex-husband showed me overnight (although of course he always vehemently denied it) that the Hadith is more important to him than the Koran... I heard from him "If you don't believe in the Hadith, you can't believe in the Qur'an" When I told him if he compared the word of Allah with the word of the people, he said "I think you're crazy", "you think you're smart but you're not at all" He believes in many strange superstitions that are not mentioned in the Qur'an, and yet Allah told us The Word of your Lord has been completed, in truth and justice. None can change His Words. He is the Hearer, the Knowledgeable. 6:115.

It hurts me to see sooo many reverts starting islam off with shirk, ask them to follow the Quran alone, to follow Allah ( SWT) guidence alone,& not man made rules which humiliates the prophet, rules that is not from Allah ( SWT ) but invented by man. If you know about anybody that has reverted to Islam, ask them how did they say their shahadah. Shukran sooo much. Salaam.

@@Ibukisenpai To be real, none should take sectarian claims above Allah, i totally agree brother. And sects do form in the Quran alone space, i think it's undeniable and it's a human tendency after all. This is the right attitude, when i was considering what Christians claim, i also made my mind that whatever the truth is, i want to obey God. And this is the right attitude, in the Quran the Prophet is told to say that if God had a son (in the divine sense like Christians claim) he would be his first servant... He isn't because that's not the case, but we should have the attitude. Some Quran alone who make the prayer too metaphorical are disgusted at the idea of putting your face in the ground, i personally like it and i think the Quran does talk of it sometimes, even if you would claim you can pray other ways... still, the attitude of not wanting to humilliate yourself before God is the issue, regardless of him commanding or not doing so. God doesn't command some things out of his mercy, because he knows us well, but we should still try to be in a state of Islam... May Allah guide us all. Salamun alaikum brother

What is the context of surah 17:1 ??
@Gabriel-ServantOfGod5 ай бұрын
@@albusai 4. Arabic: al masjid al aqṣā. See Notepad VII.iii and Notepad XVI. The Traditionalist links this verse to a claim originating in the ḥadīth literature wherein Muḥammad is said to have entered the heavens on the back of a mythological steed and negotiated with God on the number of daily prayers. This is a crucial connection, since without it the Traditionalist’s claim for the divine nature of what he calls al ṣalāt (his highly specified understanding of which he has made a pillar of his religion) can point to no definitive purchase within the Qur’an. The details of the Traditionalist’s narrative (in which Muḥammad supposedly meets Mūsā who encourages him to beat God down to a manageable number of prayers) is anathema to the Qur’an, and has more in common with parts of the Talmud. In any event, the claim that al masjid al aqṣā indicates the mosque of that name in Jerusalem is clearly erroneous since no such building existed until after the Muslims took Jerusalem. I can offer three options at this juncture. Firstly, one could argue that the present context suggests Mūsā rather than Muḥammad as the subject since Mūsā is the first person named in the segment; an assessment which comparison with 27:8 might support. Within the Petra thesis - or, at least, the Petra pilgrimage thesis - one may reasonably suppose 17:1 to indicate a journey from al masjid al ḥarām (in Petra) to Jabal al Lawz in Midian in the northern part of what today is Saudi Arabia near the border with Jordan about 120 miles away, if one takes al masjid al aqṣā to indicate that place Mūsā received the Commandments and accepts Jabal al Lawz as its location. Secondly, if one considers the instances where We blessed (Arabic: bāraknā) occurs across the text, one could form the view that the reference is to Ibrāhīm (see 7:137, 17:1, 21:71, 21:81, 34:18, 37:113). Thirdly, if we take Petra as the location of al masjid al ḥarām and assume the land of modern Israel as that of the prophets, then the allusion is simply to a night journey undertaken by Muḥammad from Nabataean Arabia towards Jerusalem, a route along the King’s Highway which inevitably would have presented him with a vista of the cities of Lūṭ destroyed by God by the Dead Sea (cf. 15:73-77, 25:40, 37:133-138). This notation is from the translation of the Qur'an by brother Sam Gerrans. Link to the full work here: reader.quranite.com/verses/chapters?chapter=17 Just because you got a narrative explaining a verse doesn't mean the explanation is true. The night journey as you describe is just not coherent with the Qur'anic discourse. All it does is expose the fact that the Qur'an mentions 3 prayers, and you made up 5 and needed a way to justify it so you fabricated that hadith. Allahu 3alam. We are supposed to ponder over the Qur'an. Some verses are not given away so easily, and yet they are open to be understood by the one piecing it all together using reason. If you are unwilling to use reason and ask for everything to be regurgitated to you by a "wise man" sheikh or whoever it may be you consider your "great ones", then the Qur'an isn't for you my brother. Afala taaqilun? Otherwise, the Qur'an does explain itself, but sometimes it's across the whole text, so you need to read the context carefully. Everything needed in the deen is already clearly set out, but historical nuances like this, which are not essential for salvation may be more cryptic, that's fine for me, it pushes me to be more interested in the Qur'an honestly... Salam
@Ibukisenpai5 ай бұрын
@albusai the context is this: Allah is the exalted One, Only He allowed his servants to travel in secret at dark from a state of prohibited submission to the station of desirable submission, in whose separated and protected space (from its negative surroundings) we responded with blessings, so that we show him these are our signs. Indeed, he (Allahh) is the one who is the provider of hearing, the provider of conviction. (17:1) masjid in the Quran is not mosque, that's too superfitial, it is a state of being.

And the 17:60 it clearly said not giving them the physical proofs is the test and if you add a veres 2:3 it will make more sense as we are asked to believe in the unseen so we believe in the unseen without physical proofs and if you think about it even if the prophet miraj is true why did Allah did not mention it once in the Quran ,if his people asked to do just that . And i do have a video about the miraj Hadith if you want to watch it . You see if you believe in the Quran and the Quran says it’s well explained and fully detailed and complete and go to another source to explain it to you logically you do not really believe in the Quran especially when you read this veres 45:6 [45:6] These are GOD's revelations that we recite to you truthfully. Quran Surah Ali Imran _7 It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muḥammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific.1 As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. 30:45 Salamun alaikum akhi. Actually, the Quran does not say that, rather liberals says it. But it is closer to that than people think. But for instance, we don't let total freedom, because it ends up causing degeneracy. Fornication for instance is totally fine in liberalism, but we have to apply a punishment, not stoning, but lashes. Otherwise we have unwanted pregnancies, kids die, fatherless homeholds... and s3xual diseases... So it's not "my liberty stops when your liberty begins" Rather it's "we hear and we obey", and then God is the wisest, it either benefits the individual or society. Salamun alaikum, i say this because our focus shouldn't be trying to imitate societies that don't even believe in God, rather we should try to understand the Quran by its own merits. As you said, culture is not to be mixed with Quran. Peace

For instance, the salat as a duty is wider than "prayer" but it can be a duty to make dua to God to ask him patience and whatnot... And we are told the people who believed used to postrate on their chins, or the likes. So, i don't think we are told a detailed one only way to make dua, but i think one can make a physical motion and we shouldn't mock it. How can you claim to follow all the Qur'an only when the Qur'an very clearly says to follow the prophet صلي الله عليه و سلم Whatever the Messenger gives you, take it. Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him))” [an-Nisa’ 4:59] If anyone claims that he is following what is in the Qur’an, but at the same time he is not following the Sunnah, then he is contradicting himself, because the Qur’an enjoins us to follow the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and not to go against him. “”But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you [Muhammad] judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission.” [al-Nisaa’ 4:65]. O you who believe! Answer Allah (by obeying Him) and (His) Messenger when he calls you to that which will give you life . . .” [al-Anfaal 8:24] Subhan Allah the Ayat are so obvious yet some fail to see and go astray... How would you explain the signs of the Hour which came true ? If the hadiths were fabricated how would those who fabricated it know the unseen ? If there was a very talented swimmer swimming in the sea and someone who can't swim just came and said that man can't swim you'd probably call him insane ,right ? Someone who can't even swim obviously isn't fit to judge the swimming of a talented swimmer.Same thing here, one can't just claim that hadiths are fabricated and the scholars like Bukhari wasted their lifetimes on nothing at the very least without studying the science of hadiths and the strict criteria to differentiate between real and fabricated ones. The fact is no one can really fully understand the Qur'an without having knowledge of Hadiths unless he wants to follow his desires and lose his way. If you remove hadiths you've lost a major portion of the religion that's why enemies of Islam like attacking hadiths so much, remove hadiths and you successfully removed a good portion of the religion and makes the religion open to man-made interpretations and following of worldy desires.

Please reply to my question first before I can move on to next verse

So you re hadith rejector, yoou reject the saying and action of prophet muhammad and that means you rejected the Quran because Quran said Ali imran verse 31 Allah said "Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If you ˹sincerely˺ love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. For Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” See Allah the one true God command Muhammad to say if you love Allah then follow Muhammad PBUH.

Nowhere in that verse of the Quran does Allah mention Hadith of bukhari or abuhuraira. It’s your false interpretation that the Quran is referring to Hadith

Following Prophet is same as following Allah which is same as following Quran. Nowhere in Quran says follow Bukhari or Trimidhi or Muslim or Abu Dawood. These books were not even written during the first 200 years of Islam .
