I ordered my Beta 390 rrs in March. I got a call last week and dealer said he got my bike in. Should be ready this week. Dealer is installing my bigger fuel tank, bark busters and radiator guards. When I get it Im installing bar risers and skid plate. Plan on adding tidy tail later. Franks Bike in Bellevue Washington has been awesome to deal with. Logistics problems suck.

My brother has a 21 tenere 700. He put on a wings exhaust, akropovic header and had his ecu flashed by 2WDW. Your bike is going to run so good! He also has the twin air pre filter that your talking about too. Can’t wait to see you ride yours!

just picked up a 2015 500rs on the cheap with low low miles . so far I'm really impressed with the power delivery.

Nice! The fueling on mine is spot on. No flat spots or anything and no jerky throttle.

So I got the 500 a couple days ago. It is not what I expected based on what I've heard It's like a 2 stroke. The bottom end is nice and taim, then when you get to the midrange it's like an on/off switch like a regular 450 mx. It snaps the front wheel right up.

Interesting. That's how the 430 is, it's tame down low but has a strong pull in the midrange. It uses different cams than the 500. I've heard the 500 described as much more linear. Thanks for sharing your experience with it. My understanding is the race bikes use the 500 motor with the 430 cams.

Hi, thanks for your comment. The mirrors are Doubletake Adventure. Camera is a GoPro Hero 10 Black with the Media Mod and a Purple Panda 3.5mm mic.

I just got a 2020 430 rrs an at slow speeds in rough ground the temp comes up to 220 to 235 but goes down to 185 to 200 in normal riding. The fan comes on at 200. Does anyone know if this is normal. Thanks for any help

it's been a while since I took mine offroad, but I think it was about the same. The weather is cooling off so hopefully I'll be riding again soon.

normal operation. i didn't like that either so i just ordered a lower temp fan switch for it.

The 350 and 430 are short stroke motor. The 390 and 500 are long stroke.

The 390 is the long stroke at 63.4mm and the 350 is the short stroke at 57.4mm. They both have a bore of 88mm. The 430 and 500 both have a stroke of 60.8mm. The 430 has a bore of 95mm and the 500 has a bore of 100mm. Aside from the bore differences, the 430 uses different cams.

I've read 350 430 short stroke. 390 500 long stroke.
