I just picked up a 01zx7 over a 1k because it was on my list next it’s a 954 then I’ll get myself a zx10. Old bikes are more fun

I just got a GSX 8S because it's awesome as hell and it does what I need it to!

I have the 8R (sport bike version) and it’s fucking awesome, has usable power but it’s snappy. I ride the mountains a lot so I’ll probably never find the limit of that bike

@ethanmyers338 I ride mostly highways and city and the first time I rode this bike it literally put a smile on my face. The one thing I'm still on the fence about is doing the fender delete or not.

last summer i picked up a 2023 GSX-R750 over the GSX-R600 because the 750 was only 7lbs heavier & had 25 more hp than the 600... it was a no brainer for me ...........................never even considered the 1000
@RealJay1k5 ай бұрын
Yeah that makes a lot of sense really. 750 is a pretty good pick

In your own opinion, what's the best 400cc bike for a beginner?
@RealJay1k5 ай бұрын
The ninja 400 is really the best 400 in class really

This popped up randomly in my suggested videos. I get it. There was a time when I would've said "1000!" but where I'm at now (old fart) a 600 would be my choice too. Back in the day (early 1980s) I had a Suzuki GS650E. The 600s are a great size. Enough power to have some fun, but small and light enough to toss around and have fun that way too. Today I'm riding a 730 lb Harley and just cruising. Fits my needs to a T. But if I ever got a second bike - it would be in the 500 - 600 cc range, something I could flick around and be irresponsible on. ;-)

It’s just something more fun about a smaller bikes now that I have more experience

I think a 1000 is easier and more comfortable to ride in the city if you have self control. It’s like the difference between a 250 dirt bike and a 450. 450 you can just ride the torque, 250 your constantly shifting and reving it to the moon to get it to move.

That is true , 1000s are very efficient

In Australia atleast, "lane filtering" is moving between traffic thats stopped or less than 30km/h speed, at a slow speed yourself. which is legal in parts of Australia. They use lane-splitting as an illegal term for splitting between cars at speeds over 30km/h and not stopped or slow traffic. Which is illegal here :P That's probably why you might get comments like this one about lane filtering vs lane splitting, but in the end people should HOPEFULLY be able to determine that things can have multiple definitions and uses lmao. Sweet bike man! Looks like a fun ride. Hoping to get a ZX6r myself

Ah I appreciate the clarification , I hope when you get that zx6r you love it🤙🏿🔥
