Carolina skiff is a tried and true quality boat maker . More affordable than most of lesser quality. Ide definitely be proud to own one.

Thanks for the review and walkthrough. What's the biggest chop you've been in? Did it handle it well? I'm curious to know how well the hull handles big water. I had an older 21DLV, but you would pound in chop. The new hull looks much better. I'm looking for a boat that can fish shallow water and still handle big water.

You're welcome. I would say 2-3ft and the boat handled pretty well. Also took it from Wilmington to Harkers Island and it was comfortable ride with 2 adults and 4 kids. (6 hour boat ride). It's a great boat that gives you both option for shallow and open water fishing. I know Carolina Skiff this year came out with the 22 Ultra Elite that is a V Hull like the 26. Hope that helps.

Is there a deck that drops down in the front like over where the table pole goes? I see a lip around the inner part of the casting platform like a platform can be dropped in there

I’m not aware of Carolina Skiff has deck that can fit in, but I’m sure you can have something fabricated that would fit where the table goes.

Not bad price and options , I checked mako for the 19’cc $45k before options. After the options it will push price out further than what you paid.

@@Tradhunter you can’t beat it for the price. Was just lucky to stumble upon because the lead time for a new boat is insane.
