Great video! Thanks Straightforward, crisp, clear. I would like to advise you to never roll any cable that way. It adds pressure from the pull-roll action. Best is to roll the cable following your palm size and you do the same direction every single time. This way, you prolong the lifespan of the cable. 😊

Thanks for the tip! I'll keep that in mind when I'm storing my cables from now on. 🫶🏻

I like the idea of saving sand from the beach in a shaker pocket. (I've made souvenir "beach jars" for my daughter from her first trips to the beach.) I have started a Project Life book for her, as well, and I think I'll try to make her some sand shakers to add to some of her pages!

I just got this fuse tool after watching a couple of shaker tag videos. I just had to have it! 😍 I made some shaker bookmarks to give as back to school gifts. I am making gift tags and shaker embellishments. I love it. Yes there is a learning curb cause my first tag i kinda melted the two sheets at some areas. Lol. Its definitely a must tool to have if you like working with sparkle and movement. Love shakers. 😍👍

You and you alone finally sold me on getting the Fuse! I didn't have any ideas on why I would want one! Plus I was having a difficult time scrapbooking all the little things I pick up here and there all over Disney and like you showed a lot are double sided or interactive in themselves! I'm a straight up scrapbook girl so items from vacations (ex:sand) have just been waiting in a box for a good solution! I worked on 1 photo sleeve album in a retreat & was turned off about the whole idea! Things kept sliding out, around,&doing things I never intended! So irritating esp.with my OCD about pages! Takes me WAY too long to finish a page because it MUST be perfect! Going to Disney in the spring, but this time I'll be on the hunt for great ideas for my 1st pocket page album!(simple story sized burlap). Your Disney specific ideas have me thinking about pocket albums In a different light..not your straight up Project Life style! Thank you for the great video & a reason to buy the Fuse, LOL!😄💖

Thanks Serena! I'm going to create an album containing page protectors sectioned off for my dies and stamps, but I was unsure what the best surface to use on which to fuse. I see you use a heat resistant matt, which I have, but I'm thinking my glass matt might be a good option too. I'll keep watching videos to see which seems most popular. Terrific video!

We R Memory Keepers also makes the same tool but slaps the Project Life brand on it and it sells at Michaels for $30 and you can use their coupons. I got mine a couple weeks ago for just $15 with their weekly 50% off coupon. SCORE! Great pockets, loved the pressed penny idea. I collect all my movie stubbs for the past 24 years so I'm thinking of making a fun movie scrapbook using this tool. Like printing a mini poster of the movie to put next to the stubb and even having a journal card to put any fun notes I remember about the movie and who I went with.

I just bought this tool because i wanted to see if I could use it for a different reason. I wanted to know if I could take my tons of page protectors and make open pockets to organize my embossing folders and things like that, so I think I will be able too..ALSO, I loved watching your video because I am making my great nephew bd cards for his 2nd bd in May, and of course they are Mickey Mouse which he loves..Now I can make him a little shaker with embellishments in it that he can shake without getting them in his mouth and choking on them...I am so excited..I love your ideas, gave you a thumbs up, and subscribed! Thank you Serena, Victoria

I DO enjoy your videos. ? IF you use the FUSE to make different styles of page protectors, like for embossing folders, and other things all of us crafters have, would you consider making a video to show how you do it? My tool is still not out of the box, but as I am TRYING, key word, to clean and organize my craft room I though this tool could be used for the page protectors (the special ones with pockets and other sizes cost so much more than a plain box of them) that I thought I could use the tool for that (organization pockets for a lot of other things, and then the shaker pockets too. I love when tools can be used for several things.Thanks Serena

I love everything about this video! It would be fun to see how you incorporated your shaker pouches into a card for those of us who don't scrapbook. Also, question: it looks like you are using other page protectors other than WRMK. WRMK said this wouldn't work, so it's nice to read the contrary as theirs are more expensive. Does any page protector work or only those used for scrapbooking?
@SerenaBee9 жыл бұрын
+jenmontzingo really, I'm surprised to hear that other page protectors wouldn't work with the fuse, i don't see why not i mean they are all made out of plastic. the one i used are from simple stories. i think they all should work in my opinion. thanks the question!
@jenmontzingo9 жыл бұрын
+Serena Bee exactly!! I think WRMK says this to keep people buying their more expensive pockets. But as consumers we have to wonder who's saying this and WHY. It's not like a neutral party indicated this. Love your posts.

I have no affiliation with anyone, but on another YT channel I saw, there is a whole kit via HSN, I think that's who sells it, with pockets and plastic 'card bases etc. Pretty sure it came with extra fuse tool tips and another ruler with a different wiggly shape. At the end of the demo she showed all the cards she made from that beginners kit. It may be worth a google if people are interested in the tool.

Why does my fusing come undone? Is it that it's not hot enough or that I don't apply enough pressure? I make shakers with not much sequence and everything falls out. 🤔
