Being a BTech student, I would suggest others to choose BSc or BCA over BTech in tier 2 or tier 3 colleges. A BSc or BCA student gets the same status over the course of time as a BTech student working in a tech company and also being a BSc or BCA student, you have lots of time to explore your fields of interest and you can save yourself from studying unnecessary subjects in BTech. But if you are planning to pursue MS in countries like USA, Canada, etc. after completing your undergraduate education, then pursue BTech as the universities of these countries are more more likely to accept students with technical background and 4 years of undergraduate degree.

Bsc in india is a huge scope yet many of us arent aware of this due to their aim for engineering and medical line.. One of the large scope of Bsc not only in India but throughout the world is Physics and Astrophysics... Basically I am also aiming for Bsc phy. but if u want good institutions then u have to give their own conducted entrance exams like SCB by IISER, NEST by NISER, KVPY for IISERs and IISC. These exams are bit easier then JEE. In bio, u can choose biotechnology, one of the best and now its one of the imp part for treating covid-19. Nice field, less chance due to high quality of the field and manyore like biochemist, geophysicsit but in bsc u require basics clear like phy, bio, math, chem then in Msc and Phd u can do in depth reseach upon ur fav fields... Just shared a piece of knowledge I had stored hope it will help u

If you're interested in computer science field then u can opt CS in BTech or polytechnic...in BSc there's only the theory so would not recommend going for BSc in CS ...you can research more about it and take your own decision

Hey dii even i scored good marks in 10 but ha abhi 12 ka ni aaya😂 m pcm student hu but i m not interested in btech at all I want to do upsc but unable to find apt graduation field i m stressed to and extreme level coz my mom is the sole bread earner/single mother ..i m confused between btech ba bsc Main prob is ki sb mujhe kete ki backup kya h tumhara bsc m etc etc agr upsc ni krapyi toh tum kya hi krlogi btech kro Paisa kamao etc etc I don't have anyone to guide me mera koi bada bhai behn bhi ni h or baaki bahhr k log toh taunts marte h bs .. but mujhe genuinely kuch smjh ni aara.

Somewhere they're also correct that you must have a backup plan...I've so many of my seniors who are IAS officers but they initially did B.Tech ...B.Tech is good as you'll have a backup plan as well but with B.Sc you won't get a good job...you'll have to do M.Sc as well and in most of the cases PhD so i would suggest you B.Tech but still do your complete research,see your budget,your family conditions and most importantly your instincts ❤️

BSc is a degree which definitely will not directly provide u with any job so if u want to prepare for government exams too, then u can do BSc from any local college
