I'm up in Eastern Canada. Nova Scotia. I just bought a Sany 3.5. Putting a Forax brush mulcher on it. Also setting up a quick attach plate with a hydraulic winch to snig out blown down trees. I'll be able to limb and buck them at a stable location, pile the logs with the thumb and a tooth attachment at the back of the plate to act like a grapple..then un pin and put the mulcher on and clean up. Been doing this since 1984 with some big gear but now it's for backyard storm cleanup..and enjoyment.

Tons of people are buying them. They might have to turn up the hydraulic pumps, but when there turned, the rip. Open and easy to work on. I'm expressed with them. I wish the dipper was longer. The boom wasn't bent at almost a 90degree . Other than that, pretty tight machine

Hmmh....Looks like a good buy....Thank you for your review and information.....I currently have a JD 3046R tractor with cab and Bucket, Backhoe and Mower.....Serves me well as a private homeowner....Your review on the SANY Tracked Backhoe was informative...I sent the link to my friend who has a landscaping business.....we've been talking about what machine he might want 'ta buy in this class of excavator......This looks like the best deal around... I love John Deere equipment. I grew up working on my grandfathers farm and he had all JD equipment. I'm following with my purchase of some beautiful, functional JD equipment for use around my home. So far, i couldn't be happier.....Nice tractor that 3046R, highly recommended. Smooth operating, Quiet, Powerful with a 45 HP Yanmar Turbo Diesel. Heat, AC, GPS, AM-FM / Satellite Radio, Pneumatic seat, Tilt steering wheel....Shit, this thing has more creature comforts than a high end SUV....

I have Cat excavators and equipment. Best brand to own for parts, familiarity, resell, and such. But the price is so high. And the arrogance. I’m in Georgia. I’m 2.5 from Peachtree city Georgia. But.....I’d be willing to try this brand for the savings and warranty. The older I get the more open minded I am to stuff like this. The brand doesn’t care about you like the brand expects you to care about them. The “I will only ride a Harley” mentality is destructive.

@@SadlonCattleCompany am kinda disagree with you in that because CAT made in China has nothing to do with Chinese equipment brand if we talk about quality, basically they will never tell you that but China facilities for CAT is just an assembly lines created in 1994 because of Chinese government regulations to force the manufacturer move there business inside China like VW , which also help them sell alot inside a big market like China. For me am talking about middle East machines like CAT 320D sourced from China to our market since 2011 with the same price of Belgium or US ones however the quality didn't changed at all instead the price slightly get down because the shipping cost become lower and availability become much much better than before , Big Machineries are getting manufactured in CAT factory in China 🇨🇳 and the machine reputation, resale value and quality is very good 👍 you just need to check someone who tried them so you can judge them I saw some chinese 980H with 40K h on the clock and they still didn't touch the power train
@SadlonCattleCompany
@SadlonCattleCompany 3 жыл бұрын
@@OsamahAlQaisi I never said Cat in china was not quality. When I pay 100k I want Made in USA.When I buy Cat I want USA. Not China. My local Cat has a 306 Excavator says made in USA w foreign and domestic parts. Parked right next to it is a Cat 307 says made in China. The 307 is still over 130,000. Yes the machine is quality with more bells and whistles but I'm not going to sit here and say it's Built any better than sany.Just has more electronics which is not necessarily a good thing. They have the same seat and same cheap plastic. There both China steal.My Sany has a Yanmar so powertrain is no problem. I'm sure there are high hour Sanys. I never said Cat was a low quality machine just cause it's China ,All brands have a lotta parts coming from China and Korea. But when Cat has one sitting on the lot made in china. And I can get the same made in China size machine half price its common sense. I just bought a Cat 259d3 and I'll be honest it feels cheap inside like my Sany . It's comfortable. It also says made w foreign and domestic parts. And is the most expensive in it's class. I'm sure all the fancy electronics are china .all computer stuff is,, but it's quality. If I was running an excavator every day and that's all I did was dig I would want a caterpillar. But I don't use it very often so why tie a bunch of money up in it. I'm just trying to show people that Sany is not absolute junk. I'm sure they probably are the worst excavator on the market but that's not necessarily a bad thing because all this new equipment is really good, and price reflects that, it's hard to say that any brand is better than the other. Technology has come a long way. It's better than buying a machine with 10,000 hours thats wore slap out. And Sany copied someone ,there no way your First machine runs and digs that good w all the engineering thought out that well they had help and they copied.

Yup I use to feel the same way about Snap-on Tools when I was a young mechanic I’d pay extra for the brand name and I was Snap-on all the way but not anymore. I’ve been looking at Yanmar excavators for a while but the Sansy has really caught my attention. I can buy a brand new Sansy for the same price on a used Yanmar with 2000 hours. They use Yanmar diesel engines plus the warranty is amazing.

Apparently, people here are not aware of how Cat does business. After the last labor strike, Cat decided to out source the manufacturing for some of their equipment. They would visit factories world wide, and ask these factories to bid on building equipment as specified in their drawings. As long as the equipment meet all Cat’s specification, it does not really matter where or which factories they are made at.

I think these machines will have the same failings as Kubota and Bobcat and Deere. Emissions and electronics. But the iron is just as strong and you can still hook up a cable throttle and Murphy gauges like a lot of old Hitachis and Deeres and Samsungs have. IMO Cat Deere and Bobcat last 10 years did this to themselves making fancy machines with too much crap, not staying focused on rugged reliability. I mean the new Bobcat skid steers have a tin rear door with louvers. Compare that to an old S250 with a 5/16ths plate rear door and they are just trying to make these machines NOT last

The 2021 Bobcat T650 I have on long term rent to bolster our own fleet this summer as it’s been crazy already how busy it is, rear door is super super stout. Can you remember what model had the thin rear door. It’s a super great machine and hasn’t hiccuped since receiving it. But still prefer my Kubota pilot controls/hydraulic over hydraulic controls vs Bobcats electronic over Hydraulic. Most don’t feel the difference and delay but the few of us that can knows they difference. Lol

@@mudstar7140 The new R series (T66R) is the machine I'm not impressed with. I believe the M series loaders still have plate doors. Personally I'm not very impressed that a 2021 machine hasn't had a hiccup. Give it 15 years and tell me how its doing. I ran the old S250s and S300's up to 4500 hours. 10 years of daily abuse and on 4 machines totalling over 12,000 hours we replaced one starter and one blown hose. No chance your new machine will make 4000 hours without problems from the emissions or computer

@@mudstar7140 I ran a T650 back in 2014. If you ask for too much power from the tracks like hard dozing or steep climb it bogs the engine down. Theres a documentary on youtube about their plant thats super cool as well. Im interested to see what the situation will look like in 10 years and how well they hold up over time, but I remember when Kia and Hyundai first hit the US market with their $9K cars with 10/10k warranty and I would trust them any day over a dodge or jeep. I doubt it will be any different with Sany, Im quite impressed with them and I am seriously considering getting one for my business. FYI i think the CAT clone machine statement was a baseless rumor, that simply doesnt make sense. Any patent that would have expired would be extremely outdated tech at this point

@@andrew5550 It’s a shame, I always held CATerpillar to a higher standard. I grew up around CAT equipment and learned the way of the dozer on a 1974 D8k, that machine I love so much was from back in the day when iron was 100% USA made from American steel. This old timer Sonny (RIP) was an old school Cat mechanic and used to tell me that you can rebuild a CAT dozer an infinite amount of times, because he said the quality of steel was superior to the competition such as Komatsu. He claimed that on the other brands, the frame would stretch and fatigue rendering them scrap after an undercarriage or two. I asked him what he thought of the “new Cats” made in Japan and he said they aren’t real cats but they are made to cats specifications of tolerance and quality of steel. He also explained to me at my tender age of 20 why black smoke was bad for the engine/ cylinders and what a healthy running diesel should look and sound like. I still love to see black smoke, it turns me on, and there was nothing better than letting off the decelerator of the old D8 with its D342 indirect precombustion engine that sounded like a bucket of bolts rattling around the giant black ploom that swirled up into a mushroom cloud then cleared up to deliver disgusting amounts of torque. I felt like the world was being spun by its tracks. Such fond memories. Getting back on topic though, I heard years ago that the Chinese cat manufacturing plant only served china and they didn’t export the Chinese variant outside china. I’ve seen badges from all over the world on cat machines. Poland made the bucket for a Japanese built machine, with tracks made in Belgium. It’s crazy the global market we live in today. I hope all these companies figure out the emissions garbage that kills the reliability and longevity of modern engines. These Sany machines look like early 2000s cat clones. Just found out there is a Sany dealer about 2 hours from me and I want to go give them a go. I’d love for my first machine to be a CAT but that is not the reasonable choice given my position. At the end of the day it’s like this. You like CAT or many you like Case or Komatsu, it’s like ford vs Chevy in the sense that you like what your dad likes and are biased. I’m my case my grandfather got me at a very young age wearing cat hats and I remember being in 1st grade and I was the only kid to have a CAT key on my house key ring can you believe that?! Lol. Enough rambling thanks for the knowledge and response Andrew! Be safe

I did the math. John Deere $89,000; Sany $56,000 difference is $24,000. You said that's 500 hours of work so, $24,000 divided by 500 hours is $48.00 per hour, no way do you bill the mini at $48.00 hour what are you talking about, please explain you are confusing the people watching the video.

I sold it. Looking to get a bigger size machine. I have no complaints with the Sany. Had the coldest air condition I've ever been in a machine. The machine never gave me one issue always ran great and strong. Whatever brand you buy in my opinion always comes down to dealer's service if you're buying it new w the warranty. I would have no issue with buying another Sany.
