The AZ800 was a great tire and designed as a dry road tire, it's got a very cool tread pattern and sidewall. This would have been my first choice based on looks alone. Although it's an all season performance tire It's been noted that the AZ800 has a little more difficulty stopping on wet surfaces and grip issues as well. It also does not perform well in the snow. Being my daily driver I needed to move on to the AZ850 for it's superior wet handling.

The AZ850 was an improvement it's long deep treads in my opinion not as cool looking as the 800 but offer excellent driving and grip on all terrain wet or dry.
manufactured to run at high speeds for longer without getting unnecessarily heated.
The outer treads are wider for better cornering
Speed rating of Y which is a max speed of 186MPH
Load index of 106 which will support our cruise ships without breaking a sweat at 2094lbs per tire.
Also available in a run flat version however for performance use this is not recommended.
With the 275 wide tires I knocked the sidewall to 40% to keep the tire height the same. As you can see here the tire sizes are nearly identical, the one in the back is inflated so it appears a little bigger. Some like keeping the 45 sidewall for increased height this will fill the wheel gap and give a little more sidewall flex on launch, this will work but it will affect your speedometer accuracy.

My car came with the backup camera, with the Challenger it's located in the spoiler. in all the 2015+ Challengers I've seen the wiring for the camera is tucked above the trunk lid liner. you can buy the spoiler online and install yourself, (it does require drilling for the wiring and bolts) . Once installed if you have the 8.4 uConnect you can use the zAutomotive TaZer to unlock the video and enable the backup cam.

I love the Atturo AZ850 I have a set of 275 on the front and 315/35/20 on the rear on a set of Brass Monkey replica rims from Factory Reproduction. I haven't had a chance yet to take them to the track but I have shaved about 3 tenths off of my times on the street. That time is based on the performance pages. I did keep by factory Scat Pack wheel and I am going to order a set of Drag Radials for them so I have something dedicated for the track. I love watching your video and thank you for making them. They have help me with several things that I have done to my car like the Aux button install. Once again thank you and keep making wonderful videos.

I had a 4 hour drive down to the dealership, with a risky drive through a snowy mountain pass while trying to beat out a snow front coming in, all the while on lack of sleep and still a bit groggy and in a Nyquil fog (long week lol), but when I finally got into the dealership, about an hour before closing, and started her up.. man that ROAR coming out of that 392 just instantly melted away every worry, concern and any doubt that I might have had before that moment. Like I instantly knew that everything that I went through to get that Scat Pack was worth it and that everything I felt I had been missing when I had the SXT was all there. Ended up taking a 5 hour route back home to avoid the snow.. but honestly, I think I was smiling for every minute of it :) I love my SP bees!

Minus the snow I more than a 3 hour drive to the dealership to see on of 2 Manual Scat packs left in the country with the color and packages I wanted. They know I wanted it so battling for the price was difficult. I actually left the car I drove there in at the dealership and returned later that night with my family. I drove over 12 hours back and forth that day by it was totally worth it.

Work Play Drive That's one of the reasons I think I gravitate toward your videos so much, because you're just as particular and meticulous about your Challenger as I am. The SXT I bought last year was only one of three in the country for color and options I wanted. Had to buy it remotely from a dealer in MN sight unseen on good faith and have it transported here. I nearly couldnt line up a transporter to do it and was 1 day away from flying over there during the middle of winter and taking the 36 hour drive to get her home! So when I saw a Scat Pack in B5 blue with the options I wanted and it was only 200 miles away, I just couldn't say no! The things we do for our cars :)

The AZ800 are a great looking tire with an awesome tread pattern.. The only reason I didn't get them is the 850s have better wet performance, I felt that was important because I haul my kids around and daily the car so a little extra safety was best. You did wind up with one sexy tire that is still drivable in the wet.

Great video - I ordered a set of 265/40R-21 from SimpleTire for $489 delivered to my home, and plan to install them on my 2017 Ford Edge Sport AWD in about three months from now. Yep, He's in the middle of taking his Hellcat to 1000HP so these tires don't apply LOL The Atturos are great daily driver and street fun tires, they work REALLY well in the rain. Cant beat the price and they look awesome on the car. They still spin at the strip on my so if you are racing you should get a second set of rears.

I will take your word for it, as I get the impression you do your research before taking action, as I do as well. If/when I get these tires, they will be installed at the Dodge dealership where I purchased the car, so I'm not too worried about the rims being scuffed or scratched, they will ensure a clean installation, I have already consulted them. They quoted me $1,025 for Goodyear replacements which were the same brand the car came with. S&M will charge $500 (I don't want to seem cheap, but I'm not trying to break the bank either). My concern regarding these Autturo tires...are they run flats and will my TPMS work on them? I can't seem to find info on the S&M site regarding that...

Atturo has a Run Flat model, but S&M doesn't show them on the site. The Run Flats are a Harder compound so you can expect to slip more. My TPMS worked no problem, when I had the tires swapped. Don't worry about being cheap, the Atturo IMO is a much better looking and performing tire, I'm not going back to good year anytime soon.

Question..?? How did you like these tires? I have the same Atturo AZ850. Personally, the tires look great but the only thing I am not to happy about is how "STICKY" these tires are. I want to start by sating I pay full price for my Atturo Tires and do not get any cash or perks for promoting them or any company that sells them. Regarding the road grooves - What's the width of your tires? I've been driving on the Atturo 275's for a long time, and I have not had the issue with steering. With all my cars I do occasionally feel the road when on heavy truck routes, but never an issue where I couldn't steer correctly. With the widebody at 305 (non-atturo) PZero I am feeling this a little more, but again I can steer fine. Regarding the sticky - Upgrading from the factory 245 Eagle F1 I instantly felt more grip daily driving. My left turns at the top of a hill no longer chirped the tires even when I took off more aggressively. No tire is going to stick when you mash the pedal and these do NOT greatly improve your launch at the drag strip. These are purpose built for spirited driving, not racing. I can say with certainty the Atturo at 275 absolutely had more grip than the stock tires. You can get more sticky tires for the car firestone firehawk indy 500 will give you more grip, but the lifespan of the tire will be shorter, Mickey Thompson ET Streets will give you even more grip but the Cost is high and the lifetime is very low. With so many performance tires available, Atturos are not the best performance tire, but they do provide the best cost/performance ratio, last a long time and are very safe for driving in wet conditions, which is very important since I daily with my kids in the car. They fit that spot where you can daily at a reasonable cost and get more grip than stock.

I see you're in Jersey. Do you see much snow/ice? I'm in Ohio and am strongly considering these or the AZ800s, although I called Atturo directly and they said that these are Summer only UHP tires... which is making me second guess it. Any snow 'experience'?

For an RWD car that will see snow I do not recommend the AZ850s. I’ve got no problem driving my challenger in rain or on cold pavement but I leave it at home in ice and snow. Too much work to Chance it. I did get the AZ850s for my AWD Magnum and they drove very well in 6” of un plowed snow. But again the AWD helps.

Great vid. Has anybody tested these vs. the Michelin Power Sports? I went with a 255/45 Michelin AS3s and it feels like a whole new car from driving on the OEM Goodyear Eagles, which were TRASH in anything but dry conditions and did not hook up nearly as well.

Hi buddy.. I just these tires.. I noticed they are not directional.. however.. They have an INSIDE tag... But I didn't get two pairs for each side.. is that normal.. The outside patch is a nice big pad.. however.. on one side the Patch tread is going downwards.. and the other side.. the outer patch is opposite tread to the other side.. Like the pad is curved opposite is that normal.. In other words.. The pad on the outer edge.. the big racey looking patch.. should be pointing down when moving forward. as if it is digging in.. but only one side does this.. Do these come 2 left and 2 right? Or is it purposely made that one of the pairs, will have tread going the opposite way

One tire design, they are non directional as long as you install them with the outside out, you're all good.

@@WorkPlayDrive thanks..i did call autturo to confirm.. but honestly..its very bizarre because when mounted left and right side...theres absolutely NO tread pattern.. nothing ends up being " balanced " ..having an equal amount of treads going back and forth...the passengee tire will have 3 tread digging inward and the driver tire will have one...very very oodd.. wwll at least the 2 extreme tread patches on eirher side cancel themselves out directionally....

A get it, the angles of the treads being different on both sides is an OCD nightmare, but after 2 full years of driving on the AZ850s I don't see any issues. I have them on my AWD Magnum and drive this car in the rain, slush deep snow and traction holds very well and I don't see any uneven Tire wear.

You can definitely do it yourself, I've always wanted to lower the car, but I can't in NJ it's just too dangerous and I can't even get into my driveway now without scraping. On Monday I put in my order for the Accuair Endo-CVT and a set of Universal Air Aero 2 Adjustable struts and air bags. Because the Endo-CVT is new to the market I have 3 more weeks of waiting before she arrives. But I cannot wait.

The difference is the sidewall. 275/40 the sidewall is 40% of 275 and 275/45 is 45% of 275.

Absolutely, I ran for over a year with the OEM Good Year F1 245/75/20 tires on the front and the AZ850's on the back. The only time you will have an issue is if you have the AWD Challenger GT. otherwise you are good to mix.

I have a widebody so 315s will work. 275 on the factory 9” wheel is the largest you can go. Any larger is not recommended and also compresses the wheel surface. 305 - 315 with 11” wheels and a proper offset is the best option of you want to go big. .

I did not need tires all around, just in the rear for traction. The Atturos are a good tire and the SRTs come with 275 all around, I plan on getting 4 eventually, but at this time my front tires are still in decent shape.

B.B. The 40 or 45 is the percent of the width so the same percent of a larger value (in this case the wider tire) would be a taller tire as well. So the 40% of 275 is about the same as the 45% 0f 245. I'm tired but I hope that was clear. ;

I had a set of these same tires (Btw, I bought them on Amazon in Nov 2018 for about $110/ tire delivered to the house) mounted on my '14 Challenger R/T Classic Super Track Pak (stock 20" rims). - Side note/question: Do you know if the upgraded option of the 20" wheels are 8" or 8.5" wide for a 2014 Challenger R/T (Classic) Super Track Pak?Since I had them mounted & balanced going into winter, I have noticed that they are pretty rigid before warming up. They are listed as an "All-Season" tire, but I have noticed that a lot of people are saying that these are a summer tire. Can't wait 'til it starts getting warm again & I can get a feel for their best performance. My car is a daily driver, & I don't "race" w/ it, but of course I enjoy "stretching her legs" once in a while.Thanks again for all the great info!

Thank you! I'm feeling the AZ850 is a 3 season tire I like the tires, they last, good grip and priced well so I don't need to worry about breaking the bank if I'm hard on them. I also got a set of AZ850s for my magnum R/T AWD and had great luck driving in the first huge snow storm of the season. I agree right out of the driveway they seem a little less sticky on frozen days, but overall a great tire. I would NOT recommend driving in snow or ice with these on a RWD car, you need something like Blizzaks for that ;)

No sweat man, right on! Typically anymore we don't get very much - sometimes zero - measurable snowfall in the winter here in lower DE. Just the occasional snowstorm that's usually cleared up &/or melted within a few days, so I'm not all that worried about having these tires on my RWD '14 Challenger R/T during the winter. Take 'er easy!

I put the 275/40/20s on all 4 rims. I probably could have gone a little wider on the rear, but I think that 275s might be the widest I can go on the front. My '14 Challenger R/T Classic has the Super Track Pak suspension, & the 275/40/20s did clear the suspension - but with very little room to spare.

275 45 will fit, but your speedometer will change, I'm not quite sure how much, but you can use your mobile phone and a GPS speedometer to determine the difference.

The AZ 800 is not good for all season and performs poorly in the rain. I use the AZ 850 on my AWD magnum as an all season, it does very well in the rain, cold and even in deep snow. The AZ850 does well for me as an all season tire. For snow driving in a RWD car I would only recommend a Specific snow rated tire like Blizzaks, etc.

I follow you on IG it's good to see you here too. With the Atturos I wanted to see what all the hype was about and the price point was just right. I can't see dropping $250 - $500 on a single tire without first trying the Atturos out. They definitely hook harder and look so much better than the Stock F1s True you are able to put 305s on the 9" wheel, but for me I use this car as a daily and have my wife and kids in the car very often. While you are able to do it and I have not seen anyone lose a tire because of it, safety is a concern for me with with putting those tires on the 9" wheel.

WDP, My question is about the tires ride, do the stay round from start to hot and is balance good in the same. i know the are very affordable and specs are good but a shaking tire makes me Crazy!. I am not happy with the P Zero Neros that are on my new 18 Daytona 392. I read the same from many like HonestlyOCD. No change in sound with the tire, and Atturo states their outer treads actually help lessen road noise. I'm assuming I would only notice that when I put them on the fronts during turning.

You're good the 104v has a speed rating of 149MPH. Unless you plan on driving over 149mph for extended periods of time.
