"Why I Converted to Islam" By Br. Arnoud Van Doorn

This is a second lecture of "The Message" Series Oranaized By Ministry of Islamic Affair, Republic of Maldives.
Who is Br. Arnoud Van Doorn?
Van Doorn was formerly a politician with the far-right Dutch Freedom Party (PVV) and had assisted PVV leader Geert Wilders in distributing the short film ‘Fitna’, which argues that Islam promotes terrorism, anti-Semitism, and violence against women.
Van Doorn was converted to Islam in 2013, performing the Hajj pilgrimage shortly afterwards. He has also apologised for his attempts at spreading hatred against Islam. who now serves as the President of European Dawah Foundation.

He doesn't show up to meetings, doesn't know what is going on and is there only to get paid. If you don't believe me, do you're research about this man. This man is using Islam and his convertion to gain political power and money. He has done this in Saudi Arabia and then turned his back on the Saudi's. He has done this in the UAE and then turned his back on the UAE. Now, he is trying to do the same thing with in Turkey and Qatar. This man is a fraud and not to be trusted. Again: he does this to gain wealth and political influence - and if he doesn't get what he wants - he will turn his back on you. By the way: his party is now - again - in turmoil due to the fact that one of his party members makes cakes in the form of human genitalia. Also this party member loves going to erotic festivals. I truly don't care if you do this but what is hurtfull is that he is portraying himself and his party of being something that they aren't, and that is being anf following a strict Islamic doctrine. And I truly don't care what people are or what religion they follow, but what truly pisses me off is when people misuse there religion for political/ financial gain. Yes my friend, I've studied studied Islam and the life of your prophet. And for this I've read the Quran, Hadith and Sirah, from authors like: Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim and Al-Tabari (The History of Kings and Prophets). And from there I found out that he married the young Aisha when she was six-year-old and consumed the marriage when she was nine-year-old. And also from there I learned that Muhammad committed a true genocide against the Jews, both in Medina ( see the fate of Banu Quyraza tribe) as in Khaybar. The pain enforced by Muhammad on the Jews in Khaybar was so terible that even today then when Muslims want to upset Jews they chant: "Khaybar, khaybar ya yahud, jaish Muhammad saya'ud". "Khaybar, Khaybar, the army of Muhammad is coming." But of course, God never sleeps, and Muhammad paid the price for his crimes. A Jewish woman, whose family Muhammad had massacred, managed to poison him. And Yazeed, these are just a few facts on a list of bad things which Muhammad made. And all these were recorded for posterity by Muslim scholars, Muslims who really loved Muhammad. Now think about what were if these bad things had been recorded by Christian or Jewish scholars. In such a case you could say that those scholars fabricated bad things about Muhammad. But because these scholars were Muslims, you cannot throw in such doubts. So my friend, it is not about this video that carved my opinion about Muhammad particularly and Islam generally, there are other books that did it. Yazeed, maybe it is the right time for you to learn the truth about your prophet. I know, the truth is sometimes very painful. I am sorry, but the truth always comes out, sooner or later.
