Mine looks exactly like that. All the braids growing up did me in.

Omg that’s exactly my issue. I have a hair line but no hair behind the hair line😑 it doesn’t even make sense to me. I’m happy you decided to get the transplant done. I’m actually excited for you.

My mom has the same issue. She was told by her dermatologist that once the follicles are smooth and shiny like a bald man’s head. No miracle oil, elixir or sacred ritual will grow or back. Which makes sense. Best wishes on tie transplant journey! Thanks for sharing

Hi Terri! I have almost the exact same struggle as you were on this video. Having thin/bald edges really hurts your self esteem at least mine. There's hardly any styles at this point to conceal it, it's very frustrating and confusing. I haven't had braids since 2016 only had one sew in in my life, yet I see women who wear these styes religiously and still have thick edges. Your natural hair looks to be about the same texture as mine, I believe ppl with this texture or softer are more prone to thinning edges. I've tried several things to grow it no real results, and tried every method you mentioned to conceal it, getting black eyebrow color on everything is getting old lol I dream of getting transplants but I don't know if it's in my budget lol. Anyway you look really pretty regardless of your edges. I'll check out your other videos to see your progress. Thanks for the video🌼😊

Yup. This is the place. I'm glad I Googled "hair transplants for women's edges". This is exactly the follicular 'situation' I'm going through. Now to save up the loot....$$$

My edges look kinda like yours used to be. I really want to get a hair transplant but I am afraid because I have several keloids and the doctors I've seen (here in Brazil) are unsure of the result. Oh and the whole facial hair growth because of rogaine is real. I have the same problem. Glad you're surgery was successful.

nappynatural23yrs but it depends on what caused her hair loss.. the brand you mentioned is amazing, most of the clients have CCCA alopecia.. she can still try it, I’ve tried it & nothing sadly but I’m saving up for a hair Transplant.. when the follicles seem like they’re dead it’s like a waste of money buying products with high hopes. And I hate it when people mention Jamaican black castor oil everyone is different.. it’s hard to depend on products when we have traction alopecia.

So I have a question. I just got my hair transplant yesterday and my doctor said I need to start using Rogaine permanently after I heal because he thinks part of my hair loss is not only due to traction, but genetics Is this really necessary? Just like you said, I don't want to have to be tied down to using this product for the rest of my life And growing hair in other unwanted places?! No ma'am!
