You should follow some tips. 1. Don't cook near your tent it can attract bears as they smelling sense is much stronger than dogs. 2. Never cook anything smelling. 3. Keep a bear spray with you. 4. Never sleep in the clothes in which you cooked . You may smell like food. 5. You can buy motion sensor alarms and attach it to your tent.thay are available on Amazon. They are battery operated. 7. Keep a good hunter knife with you. Not the kitchen 🔪 which you carry. 8. Tigers are not interested in attacking humans usually. 9. Leopards are opportunitistic hunter and bears are attracted by smell and are much more dangerous. 9. The pahadis are more scared of bear encounter than a leapord. As they don't kill before eating.

I am from pithoragarh.... I have been to almora roads few times they are so turning that in a few 50 meters you cannot imagine what is waiting for you.... Hilly roads are always risky that too on night..... Roadways bus and other vehicles.... And especially you can have a good shelters at roadside shops as they are open at night..... Do no camp alone as leopards and tigers are always on hunt...... Rest explore Uttrakhand.... All the best.... Happy journey.

Same situation happend to me during nepal ride last week. Ufff. Om my god i know the situation when phone battery is out and the cable is not working even i got my display damaged . Pura fata hua.. aur jungle side pe tent daldiya.. aur kya bolu .... Fata hua.. but the experience that we gain is immense.

Arey bhai yahi to asli riding aur camping hai ka mazaa hai....sirf subah mein 9 baje se shaam ko 5 baje tak ride karke, phir 3 star hotel mein AC room lekar soft and comfy bed mein aaram se sone ka koi matlab thodi hota hai yaar.....aise he mast outdoor camping karo bhai, mazedaar content hai...👍👍👍👍
