It's very understandable that you can't take a vacation, going to abroad tournaments and cons is hard (especially considering flight costs). Also those commentators are amazing, it's harder to show excitement over a rhythm game as opposed to something like a fighting game.

fun stream although not a fair comparison at all. tournaments are way different than your own machine at your own pace and rhythm. franco played so good in all machines (all machines were tuned differently, some poorly and one in particular very very poor), that factor its quite important as well as I know korean machines are very well tuned compared to here. that and also the tournmanet setting its quite different and anxiety can really mess you up, specially when you have behind a huge crowd

I didn't felt the machines being that bad tuned, the arcade owners who were at B1G One are also lovers of the game and they take care of the cabs. Ofc nothing is perfect, and the great flaw of PIU tournaments is that there aren't enough cabs for a more fluent tournament (round robin is impossible, and you have one chance at the tournament).

Idk if this got delivered on eng subs but this was mostly for fun and he makes it clear that he knows it's diff from tournament settings. He said with this score on this machine and environment(proper warmup and all), it's likely he would've lost on certain songs on stage.

Tudo o que o FEFEMZ fez na casa dele foi dentro das condições ótimas de jogo que ele já está acostumado. Nos campeonatos, muitas coisas mudam e as performances são impactadas proporcionalmente. Talvez ele não tivesse atingido o que atingiu no vídeo mas ele tinha um potencial de concorrer nas finais e isso não temos dúvidas.

I think what you say is true but Franco was local and he knew those machines. Not trying to diminish his achievement. He deserved to win, 100%. Just saying that your argument is true, but it goes both ways 🙂

@@gab_gallard He knew one machine. Franco its not from Santiago where B1G ONE was played, he is from Viña del mar, the other 2 machines although he has played before are not that familiar. fefemz here has a complete advantage of warming up and playing in his very well maintained machine

@@ViDeTool Sure, but you do need to keep in mind that Fefemz already beat Franco at BITE7 in the USA this year. Again, same conditions for both players.
