In 2002/3, Power Rangers went super mega corny again for Wild Force. Set on a flying island, with a singing Disney mentor, matching coloured gilets, silver bang highlights, and a "we must stop pollution(!)" message. I was so out.
The zords were very different as well. At the time it was radical, but looking back, it's style is the dawn of the modern 'snap-on-snap-off' limb swap gimmick we lived with for most of the Neo-Saban era. But I couldn't get on board, and all the duplicate zords confused me.
Now 20 years later, here's a run down of why I'm still not interested in Bandai America's arguably best ever zordline.
