Why I don’t cut down cedar

We took a road trip to pick up some cedar. We had to cut it and load it (with the help of our friends tractor).

Getting cedar is very hard work, took me a week to pick,cut,drag out, cut to size for a 36x50 dog pen, I didn't have manchines.

At the 3:30 mark I was as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs when I saw that tractor bucket being RAISED in the air to try and lift that log off of that stump. I thought for sure that tractor was going on it's side! I know the operator must have "puckered" a bit as he immediately stopped when the left rear tire went up into the air!!!

Watch out for poison oak, it loves to grow on cedar trees.
