We’re living through an interesting time where everyone is an expert. Comment sections are full of keyboard experts and they all know best. Every once in a while someone posts an informative and helpful comment but for the most part it’s about pointing out what they don’t like or how what they do is better. This was a really good break down explanation for your process on this specific job and to me, it makes all the sense in the world. Keep it goin Brandoh, God bless 🙏🏽

Btw, I’m in Bakersfield and we’ve made the 1:45 hr drive down to the fashion district in LA for hoodies. We do what we have to do to meet the demand.
@elevated-apparel2 жыл бұрын
I try and stay away from downtown wholesale district cuz there banking off crafters that's getting in the business. They have went up way to much for tshirts and hoodies and they even know it. I use to go to og brothers alot before I had my wholesale license and even when I was working at american apparel and s&s activewear. I just buy on line and get next day delivery. Or if it's a quick 5 peice or 6 order I'll hit michaels.
@dc-plo4912 жыл бұрын
dirtbikeq - I went as recently as January of this year and the specific place I go to still has decent pricing. It took me a while to find a worthwhile supplier down there but if your buying more than a dozen at a time it’s not bad at al. I mostly use S&S for my orders, DT LA is for emergencies or if I’m down there visiting family I’ll swing by
@anthonyghotti11062 жыл бұрын
dumb question but I'm looking for the quick answer without research(just being upfront) what's the average cost of garments out there. hoodies, shirts, hats. windbreaker? I'm 6hrs away. wouldn't mind the drive if it's a huge haul. just kinda curious
@dc-plo4912 жыл бұрын
Anthony Ghotti - not a dumb question, I can only speak for hoodies and t-shirts. In January Hoodies were anywhere between 8.50 - 13.00 but as I said, the more you buy, the better the price gets. Not having to pay taxes is a huge incentive as well. T-shirts prices vary depending on the brand and type, heavyweight, lightweight etc... I found it worth it for my big hoodie purchases before winter season and I’m only 1.5 hours away so with gas prices the way they are today I’d have to take that into consideration. God bless 🙏🏽

i have alot of videos about the 1701. check'em out for more info. i use'em. but you might be asking the wrong question. ask yourself, what do you like about the gildan 2000? now ask yourself why do you want to change your blank to the Hanes 5250? what made you pick the Hanes 5250? what was wrong with the Gildan 2000? and now why are you considering the Alstyle 1701?

big brandoh supa color is a company that is every expansive and they have a ridiculous setup fee not everyone makes 50+ shirts per costumer i wanted 20 shirt done and with the ridiculous prices supa color was out of the question. so supa color is about there pocket and not being for the small business like me
@BigBrandoh2 жыл бұрын
set up fee? they have minimums of 10 sheets. but 20 11.7x11.7 is $7 a sheet. or 20 gang sheets is like $10 a sheet. i dont know what size your designs are or what your budget is. also dont know what you are used to paying for a multi color print. but to make a blanket statement that they are not for small businesses is crazy. cuz theyve helped thousands of small businesses make money. i dont need to convince you on what transfers fit your budget. you have to do what works best for you. sounds like supacolor isnt best for you. aint nothing wrong with that. the companys you feel more comfortable with are gona be the best options. at the end of the day, your profit margins is the only thing that matters. the way i do things is, i find a handfull of companies that make sense to me, then i know who to go to for small runs, big runs, single color, multi color, quick turn arounds, opaque prints, retro prints, soft ink, heavy athletic inks, big gang sheets, etc.... that way you have multiple back ups and are ready for any job. get me? the trial and error part of this business is crucial. a lot of people skip this step and just do what they heard or saw. as long as you figure out what works for you, your already doing more than the rest. keep grinding and keep creating.
