I wore makeup for about 3 years in high school. Then I got over it. I find that anything interesting I do isn't compatible with worrying about whether my makeup still looks good. I've been almost 40 years makeup-free and never regretted it.

Yes for me it is absolutely the same... But I think every person is different and also that things like that change over a lifetime. But the most important I think is that people don't use these products just because they think they are supposed to...

I think women who don't wear make-up are fascinating. The barefoot lifestyle (bare feet and zero-drop shoes) is a similar paradigm shift. No make-up and barefoot are probably thought to be associated with poverty but in fact they offer a richer healthier life.

That is true. But when these actions do not come from poverty but out of a free decision it is a wole other thing. I hope that in the future more people can decide to do things like that and that it is not just because there is no other option!

After a long time, I am coming across a person who has the same thoughts as me. From my childhood, I have never showed any interest towards grooming myself to look better. Clothes, makeup and accessories were always something that I never had interest in. I have always wanted to go outside in whatever way I am comfortable in. No matter who it is, that's the image I wanted them to have... simple and natural. I don't say that dressing or putting makeup is bad. As long as it helps you in your confidence and makes you feel better, just go for it. If it doesn't, it is perfectly normal to stay the way you are. Never think that if someone doesn't do the same things as you like shaving hair or wearing makeup or dressing properly , they are worthless. A person should be judged by their intelligence and character, not by the looks. It is individual choice to be who they want, not yours to judge. Thanks a lot for uploading this video. Loved every inch of it.

I've always been dolled up with jewelry, make-up and piercings... lately I've decided to stop because I feel like subconsciously I was telling myself tht I needed these things to be beautiful or I felt tht they brought me value and I wanted to attract men...I decided to strip myself and embrace my natural self...I completely had a meltdown.the first week...and I kinda still am...but i refuse to go back to tht I'm realizing tht it ruined my self-esteem and I created basically an alter ego...I feel so plain but I need to do this to heal within and to love myself

Omg im the same way!!! I am actually a very productive person but i hate the idea of investing any time and effort in creating an appearance....I wear the same 4 pieces of jewelry everyday cause i just dont take them off....I cut my own hair and keep it very short just to not have to deal with it...I dress for comfort not appearance....I am clean my clothes are clean and thats all that matters to me...thank you for sharing this and you are beautiful and great

No need to buy clothes, stuff to be Woman or man outside. Buy things that you really need. Instead of buying things that you “just want” because other people have it. Don’t buy stuff for look more feminine or masculine. . For example colorful nails if you’re a woman. Classical motorbike if you’re a man. . Don’t pretend as a woman/man. Just Be a woman/man inside. . No need to do makeup if you are a woman. Your right man will see you even if you don’t use makeup. . Try to use photos of you where only white background behind you And upload these photos in dating apps. Where you don’t show your: Money, Body shape, Your car, Your expansive clothes, Your nice house. Don’t smile like a clown on photos. . And wait, You’ll see that you no need to anyone, That people don’t care about your internal world. So, stop impressing them, And focus on your life. . Girls are choosing boys depends on His height. . Boys are choosing girls Depends on the hair length or color.

Can you make a video about body hair, if you shave or not, and why you chose what you did? This would be very interesting! I think more women should embrace this idea that you have. We are taught to look a certain way, and being just as you are is a kind of act of rebellion. Keep up the good, authentic work!

I dont wear make up either and hardly shave. I wear mostly black but I will wear more muted browns and greens hopfully when I need to buy new clothes. Everything matches and i have anxiety so find darker colors easier for overstimulation.

I definitely think because I have more contrast in my natural colouring, (almost black hair, pale Celtic skin with pink tones) I look better in stronger colours and monochrome. When I wear neutral clothes, I look ‘washed out’. It’s great to find our own personal style and then stick with those principles when we need to buy new things. It’s definitely possible to do it no matter what our best colour combinations are 🙂. I guess my ‘neutral’ is black!

Thanks for the vid! I actually felt like I was alive for the time I watched it. I'm male but I used to wear silver and other metal rings and necklesses like a sharkstooth on a silverbase on a silverchain, later tigers tooth or nail on bone beads, wooden bead braceletts and necklesses, african multimetal bracelet, leathery necklessess, but no ear or nose holes or other any piercings. But then I stopped wearing any. It was difficcult to begin with, those things started dissapearing and all, it feels so much easier without them eventhough I loved the way it made me feel. I havent carried a watch since 1996 when my wristwatch without the wristband had gone to snow instead of chestpocket by accident. Wristwatch and copper bracelets and silver rings made me feel grounded into modern life and I loved it, but then at another contrast everybody just thought I was weird. I did it between the ages 14-16, somewhat, wearing jewelry. At 43 it still feels like I was living like a monk, not gaining refuge from the comfort of a sounding and weighty thing to cling to the earth with, instead I want to use my conscioussness to relate to reality and maintain a natural look. For me it is also that I want to remember that I am here not for the world, but for the being in existence, where I wish to help others reach the sense of how we are by nature, without unneccessary makebelief. I often wonder wheter it was a good idea to wear jewelry to a music video or not, if I was to make musicvideos. I think it was good if parents explained to their children that their are going to see silly unneccessary things, that it's common that people do unneccessary, sometimes even harmfull things and show it. That way kids growing up didn't automatically copy just about anything whatsoever, and I didn't need to stress about fooling around wearing those wearing - jeweleries!

I do like using coconut oil for the skin. I try not to wear makeup that has been tested on animals. I hope to learn a lot more from watching all these different videos. I have spent the past 3 years downsizing all my belongings and I am being more mindful and aware of what I bring into my home. The ultimate goal for me is to rid my life of all of the meaningless stuff that I own and then aim to build myself a tiny house on wheels. I want to live more sustainably. For me they look more like a dummy - but I'm autistic a bit and I need more data to catch a contact - rich make-up and a lot of perfumes makes that impossible for me. :( I wear no make up and hardly ever wear jewellery (I have some favs like earrings my daughter made for me when she was 4 or some other handmade items.) I sometimes hear "what, are you a artist? You don't look like." Actually, I look pretty much same as Lia 🙃

Most of the time I don't use any skincare products. If I needed something, I would choose natural ones. But I have to admit that coconut oil as moisturizer and things like that doesn't really work for me...
