When I was in year 12 I had the mentality that exams were everything and honestly, I wish I had your perspective - exams aren't the end. It would have saved me so much stress but luckily it's right in time for my University exams :)) thank you

I graduated high school last year in May & I just finished 1st semester of sophomore year of college today. I'm gonna go all the way with college & possibly get my master's. I'm also doing music, acting, & modeling stuff on the side on social media & if I manage to get big on social media, then there really is no point in getting my master's since I'll basically have a career after that, but if that doesn't happen, then I'm absolutely getting my master's. Getting degrees is my backup plan & of course I'm studying things that I'm interested in. Always great to have a backup or a few, but yes, be self aware in what u wanna do & go for it once you've figured it out & know how you're going to get yourself there. That is wonderful advice. Have backups yes, but always put your main dream 1st.

Literally watching this while I study for a test. I think you're right about how if there is no point of being in school because you're not learning anything that will help you in the future but I think in that case i don't think it is a good idea to live school early. I reckon maybe taking a different pathway at schools like a general course or cert course is good because it is important to still be able to socialize with your friends so you can reinforce that friendship once you all get out of high school. I have a mate who dropped after year 10. Every single one of his mates he no longer talks to because he just lost connection.

Honestly I understand like everything you’ve said here, I used to live in Aussie when I was little (3-8) ended up having to move back to NZ because of the nature of the schooling. Went through 3 schools in the 3 years I was there. Bullying that the school would ignore even when there were meetings so much for being “no tolerance to bullies”. I did end up finishing year 13 a few years ago but honestly it didn’t do anything for me. Your videos not here and on TikTok have given me the motivation to sort my life out for the better. I watched your video and thought, you could finish high school, go to university, get a degree and still go nowhere. Education is not a measure of intelligence or capacity for success. That said, if you decide to go back, it may be difficult, but it's never too late.
