I exchanged my on the go Gm reverse monogram as well! In my experience, I was having problems with the interior of the bag buckling. My advisor shared with me that this happens due to the structured canvas separating from the lining. I was told that even with exchanging the bag, it is prone to happen again, simply because of the structure. So today, I decided to return it for the on the go Gm in empriente leather. I feel much better about this, and was told that the “buckling “ won’t happen with the leather. I dreaded returning my reverse monogrammed bag because I LOVED it, but I can’t justify paying so much for a bag that isn’t going to last as long as my other beloved LV pieces. I have the canvas in mm size. Lightweight and perfect for work. One of my most used totes like my Neverful but prettier. If I got the GM I would do the black leather as well. Beautiful ❤

Love it, black is so beautiful I do love how it's subdued! I received the Pochette Metis in pink for my birthday two years ago and got really nervous about how light it was. I really wanted the black, but it was out of stock for months, so I went with monogram but a part of me wishes I held out for the black leather, it's stunning! I also ooh and ahh over the navy. with red, it's so pretty in person.

I love the pink pochette metis, but I would feel the same way Denise! For the money we spend on these bags, it's painful to think of them being ruined. Color transfer issues scare me so much! That was the right decision, Lori. I personally don't like the humungous logos on anything be it purses or t-shirts (which look like advertisement imo) etc. that's why I love my Hermes handbags, they go pretty much unnoticed. I also use inserts to keep my bags shaped and clean. I'm sure you'll get a lot of enjoyment from this beautiful bag. Great choice!

I use rolled sheets of packing bubbles wrapped and the taped. I use these for all my bags to keep them in perfect condition

You were so smart to exchange it. Years ago I chose a huge, beautiful Fossil bag as a Christmas gift. (Not nearly the price point of a LV, but at $500 it was still the most expensive bag I’ve ever owned). I used it a couple of times, but it was just too big and heavy for me. Now it sits in a bin in my garage.

Inserts are mandatory...the interior will be perfect so much longer. I love the black so much more. Subtle, elegant, rare. I am so over the market saturated patterns. They are for the 20 year olds that crave attention and cannot tell subtle differences between the less known patterns and the fakes. Beautiful choice Lori, you will LOVE this forever. I have the canvas onthego in GM and I never use it because it’s so bloody rigid and by far the heaviest bag I’ve ever had - unbelievable… 🤦🏽‍♀️not a comfortable or easy bag to carry and I wish I found more honest reviews including this one, before I had gotten it.

Louis Vuitton in black is much classier. No offense, it’s just the typical chocolate and beige is something that is so common and nothing different from the rest. It also doesn’t really separate you from the individuals with these knock offs nowadays that people carry, it’s starting to look like something that everyone can afford but in black with gold, this looks more indiscreet, mysterious, like you have money but you’re not trying to throw it out there.
