Why I Got Baptized (My Testimony)

My name is Jasmine and this is my baptism story.
Why?
The best thing that I could have ever done is to realize my own value. I've spent the last 24 years of my life trying to force people to see my value for the things that I could offer them while missing out on the bigger picture that God loves me flaws and all.

I’m so happy for u ... u remind me of myself and it’s literally been on my heart to get baptized again knowing what I know now and seeing how much I have grown and beginning the spiritual walk with Christ has change me in so many ways and even though I am a baby in Christ I just see myself so differently... What do you mean? ...or do you mean you won't forgive yourself? The choice is yours and yours alone, since God already did his part to avail that you are forgiven of all sin that you confess to Him, and also automatically then cleanses you of all your unrighteousness (1 John 1:9); but of course the devil is also there whispering condemnation to you to ensure that you feel guilty, unworthy, etc. but don't listen to any of that, just go ahead and genuinely confess your sins to the Lord Jesus and He will forgive you and take away that feeling of being burdened from you. And that is one of the other ways that we know it works (apart from it being written and having the Holy Spirit in us testifying that it is so as the inward witness), because God does a work in our hearts and before we know it, peace and or joy will be back in our heart and we can go back to enjoying our walk with the Lord. Also after that make sure that you forgive yourself, because although falling short is not the best expectation God has for us, He is also not surprised by it, that is why He availed forgiveness even before the foundation of the world (Revelations 13:8b) which is when He was slain in the spirit realm, which manifested over 2000 years ago as it is commonly known.
