Right. I find myself in the store longer than before because I have to go around in a maze. Instead of being able to quickly grab what I need. I went to a store and could easily get Into a check out lane but they had it blocked so I had to literally walk down all the way to the other end passing at least 10 people before entering the check out lane only to walk back the other way passing more people. Made no sense when i could have just gotten in the lane and done by the time I walked and went back. At Walgreens too. Several other stores. I understand the intention but it just doesnt work. Also the fruit and veggie area is always packed.

I went to a very, very well monitored grocery store this morning (1st time since Febr) and I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. Floor decal feet directing you to the registers (oh! but first stand in a diff line) ... Could not go to the register while being rung up until you were told to...could NOT use the bags you brought with you for packing. All staff excessively nice, as there are many disgruntled patrons because of the RULES...for "safety." I hated every directive and i absolutely know its not their fault. But, guess what? I'm not going back.

I believe it actually started in Australia because their toilet paper is supplied from China. America saw what they were doing and got worried too... for some reason. And then Canada was like well if the US is doing it... lol

I hate going to the grocery store during this time too, because everyone's so paranoid. A lot of people have hayfever but now people look at you horrified if you sneeze 😖

What bothers me is the general term social distancing. Why would it be called that if it's actually physical distancing that is required?? One reason out of countless reasons that I hate shopping right now is because all of the friendly little social encounters are gone. Nobody waves to eachother anymore, nor says hi, as if they'll get some sort of disease from interacting with someone from 6 feet away with a mask on. It just sucks, and it makes me sad that even though everyone goes on & on about how "We're all in the together!" on their social media, nobody really acts like it out in public.

ROTFLOL I work in Grocery Retail Merchandising. It is so true! At least, you only have to deal with it for a short period of time, and (maybe) one day a week. I have to put up with this Pandemic of Stupidity, and while wearing a mask for 7+ hours every work day. [Reminders: 1.) If you gotta go to the grocery store, spend as little time there as possible, and then escape to the closest place (usually, your car) to shed that mask as soon as possible. It isn't good for your health to wear one for long periods of time. 2.) Don't wear your mask while you are driving. It can cause you to pass out and cause you to crash your vehicle. 3.) Go out into your backyards, without your mask, and soak up some warm sunshine. Sunshine is the best way to get Vitamin D, which will boost your mood and your immune system.] God bless! 8-)

I'm like wouldn't social distancing be better if two shopping carts were in front of each other in opposite directions, because with those huge carts in between two people that has to be at least 6 feet then going people going beside each other. I have a chronic cough and it is TORTURE going into stores because everyone acts like if you cough you must be actively trying to kill them. As someone who started back at a grocery store once quarantine started, I gotta say this is way way too accurate. We're a small store and since we advertise ourselves as clean we're the only store around that doesn't require masks. This has made quite a few people either verbally or over the phone complain to us about this and every time we're told to put them up to the store manager if they want lol. If BHK worked at our store I'm sure everyone would stay more than six feet away even at the beginning rofl.

The grocery store is the only place I go every week. So I consider it my duty to be a ray of sunshine and a sense of normalcy for people when I go. I dress in a cute dress. I wear my floral scarf instead of a mask. (There's still a mask mandate in VA) And I put on my most friendly voice. Not easy for an introvert but it's worth it. :)

Four Points: 1: If I had a NICKEL for every time I have heard the phrase "social distancing" these past few months, I could probably buy a limo. Probably wouldn't, but still Could. It is a person-to-person prerogative to decide whether or not they're going to hug someone they have missed for a long time during Quarantine. Our society is not a toddler and the government is not our parent. We don't need to be patronized by having them stick us begind a baby gate and shake their finger at us. We are autonomous and (for the most part) intelligent human beings! We would like to be treated as such! 2: Has anyone else's local Walmart put up those path-diverting tapes/obstacles on the EXIT side of their doors? I mean, on the outside? Like... Why!? It's not like we're going to stand around (Outside of the Doors) waiting to leave! Aesthetic symmetry screams either "OCD" or "Neanderthall". 3: I think my local Walmart has seen the light on the futility of One-Way Aisle Sticker Signs. Aisles are long and contain multiple wares on both sides within each. First of all: no sane shopper (especially one on a time limit) will ever want to go out of their way to make a full unnecessary loop through an in-way aisle to get to that same end-way side of the neighboring aisle that they could just as easily have ducked in and out of via -35 paces. Second of all, shoppers will go back and forth searching for a specific item that they know 'should be somewhere around here in Aisle X'. It's just an all-around stupid idea that no-one can enforce anyway. The employees at my local Kroger don't even adhere to it as they take the most logical direct paths to get to where they need to be. Which is, ya know, Common Sense for people who spend their work hours constantly on their feet. 4: I am so so so sick of the "Social Distancing" PSAs in-stores. Can't get through a single 15-minute grocery run without hearing 2-3 of them! Seriously: WE GET IT! SHUT UP! Because anyone who isn't already adhering to those recommended guidlines is infinitely unlikely to start because you keep repeating yourselves, and those who DO adhere to the recommended guidlines have ObViOuSlY NOT been LIVING UNDER A ROCK, so WHY waste breath CONsTanTLy RePeAtInG YoUrSelF

xD. About the VPN. VPNs doesn't stop hacking attempts. Special VPNs filter the traffic to find specific signatures in files that contain Malware. VPNs connects to servers FOR you. If I wanted to, I could actually send a custom-built piece of Malware over and it wouldn't be detected since it's signature isn't a part of the list in the VPN. By the way, I am trained in System Hacking and I've built maybe 13 different Malware. Many of which don't connect directly to the hacker but through public servers. On the privacy, you connect to a VPN, which is encrypted. The encryption prevents MITM, or Man in the Middle Attacks, which allow hackers to read and modify internet data. However, if I really wanted to be a jerk, I just stop you from connecting to your wifi through a Deauthentication Attack and slip a letter under your door demanding payment, otherwise they won't get their wifi back.

While I was in quarintine, I would stay home all day and look forward to when Mum came home from grocery shopping with tales of the extreme human behaviour she had wittnessed. I have some journal entries from this time that I will read to my family every now and again.

I work in a grocery store. I *try* to follow the arrows, but if someone is standing in aisle 1, I'm going to avoid the "excuse me while I come through with a big cart." Ill just go down the next aisle the "wrong way" where no one is.

Let's be real: has anyone actually been even shot a dirty look for going the "wrong way" down the isle? Also you're allowed to walk by a person normally when they've stopped, just don't stop right next to them lol.

I'm heading the "wrong way" down an aisle, and some Corona Karen wheeling the other way says loudly to her male companion "It's AMAZING how many people can't see the arrows for a one way aisle!" 😂

I was yelled at for going out the "in" door by some lady in a hazmat suit 😂😂 She proceeded to sputter like a lunatic when I said yes, I knew it was the entry door, thank you very much. The arrows, enter/exit, "wong way" is just insanity!

I get that for the video moving the mask to speak makes sense for clarity, but that’s another thing when going out! Like, why is the mask even there if you take it off to talk? Don’t touch your mask unless you have to!

I think i stopped noticing the size of his arms a couple years ago. They were pretty good back then already. Definitely much larger than when the channel started.

I thought about #3 today, and then realized there weren't one way aisles at Aldi, there were just seven people going the same way in one aisle for some other reason.
