Every people wants to claim to be a Noahide when they don't even know that there is no such laws in the Torah except Gen 9:4-6 as if it is a premium to have such ambiguous status. After seeing many Jews and Gentiles believe in Yeshua, ancient rabbis began inventing the 7 laws while copying some ideas for Gentiles from Paul.

@@letsknow1491 Christians leave Jesus (peace not be upon the bringer of wars) when they find out he wasn't the promised Jewish Messiah, c'mon you should've already known that haven't you?? The only Prophecy Jesus might've been close to fulfill was the Prophecy of a humble man riding a donkey, but the problem is: Was Jesus HUMBLE!? (Matthew 11:29-30) "29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." (Matthew 12:1-8) "At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat. 2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. 3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; 4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? 5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? 6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. 7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. 8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day." (Matthew 12:38-42) "38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here. 42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here." Well at least was he riding a donkey?? Depends on the Gospel, according to the Gospel of Matthew he wasn't: (Matthew 21:1-8) "And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples, 2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. 3 And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them. 4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass. 6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, 7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. 8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way." Well maybe at least he fulfilled the following parts of the prophecy!? (Cuz you know.. every prophecy has a following part) (Zechariah 9:9-17) "9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass." - A HUMBLE man riding A DONKEY (Aside of the poetic expression of two donkeys) "10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth. 11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water. 12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare that I will render double unto thee; 13 When I have bent Judah for me, filled the bow with Ephraim, and raised up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and made thee as the sword of a mighty man. 14 And the Lord shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south. 15 The Lord of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar. 16 And the Lord their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land. 17 For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids." - And BRINGS UNIVERSAL PEACE I mean there's a lotta new testament verses in which JC clearly states that he came to bring wars and division between brothers and sisters, one hating his own wife and children - mother and father, and commanding his disciples (Through a parable) to 'Slaugther' all of his opposers, but that's quite the basis..

She also married a fairly secular Jewish man and raised Jewish children.

I found this very informative. My wife and I attended a messianic congregation for a number of years and I have to agree with your general feeling about it. Ultimately, my sense was that these people were more in love with converting Jews than loving the Jews themselves. I also feel that there is a space in this question of conversion that is generally overlooked which is simply that a non-Jew can enjoy the blessings of HaShem in being observant without actually becoming a Jew from a halachic position. I observe shabbat and attend a conservative shul without converting for a number of reasons mainly having to do with my age, having spent most of my life as a Christian and not wanting to cut myself off from grandchildren and other family. Ultimately, it is not about being a Christian or a Jew from a legal standpoint but one's relationship to God that matters.

No Jew sensitive to Judaism’s own classical sources, however, can fault the theological model Christianity employs when it avows belief in a God who has an earthly body as well as a Holy Spirit and a heavenly manifestation, for that model, we have seen, is a perfectly Jewish one. A religion whose scripture contains the fluidity traditions [referring to God appearing in bodily form in the Tanakh], whose teachings emphasize the multiplicity of the shekhinah, and whose thinkers speak of the sephirot does not differ in its theological essentials from a religion that adores the triune God.”

He is the anointed one, for he is, Jesus Christ. God the Father has raised him from the dead; who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God! Angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by him. They who believe and are baptized with the Holy Spirit shall be saved; but they who believe not shall be damned. For they who believe not on him, shall die in their sins! I tell ye now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father! There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you! They who heed this message and did what was stated with an open heart to God... Read the Holy Bible (KJV) daily and every time before you read, pray to the Father and ask: "Lord I ask that you give me understanding of your word, that I interpret it the way you want me to, and none of my own. I ask you in Jesus' name, amen." 1 John 2:2 KJV 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. Acts 13:26-33 KJV 26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, *and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.* 27 *For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.* 28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain. 29 *And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.* 30 *But God raised him from the dead:* 31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people. 32 *And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,* 33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. 1 Peter 3:22 KJV 22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. John 14:6 KJV 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Mark 16:16 KJV 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. John 8:24 KJV 24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. Acts 2:38 KJV 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Luke 11:13 KJV 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? John 14:21-24 KJV 21 *He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.* 22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, *If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.* 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and *the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.*

Shalom! In 1 week, on 30 Sivan (day before Rosh Chodesh Adar,) I will be meeting with the beis din for my conversion. I have been on the journey of conversion for about 5 years, learning for 3 years on my own, and 2 years with my beloved Rabbi, Menachem Rivken. I am excited, and afraid at the same time. I am greatly looking forward to starting my journey; towards accomplishing the mission Hashem gave me to do in this world. You are definitely on the right path and anything you need to move forward on this path, just please ask. Christianity is a big fraud and Evil, is why I left Christianity because of its nonsense and Idolatry, now I just follow the laws of G-d for gentiles. In the new testament literature, Jesus goes upto the Fig tree expecting to eat Figs but the Fig tree doesn't have any Figs because it's not blooming season for the Fig tree, so Jesus kicks the tree and curses the Fig tree because it doesn't have figs, is this your G-d? - a G-d that doesn't even remember when he himself decreed that the Fig will give its fruit - is this who your counting on saving you. In this end of days verse , there's no mention of a Jesus, Christians better wake up and wake up Fast lest you be part of what's coming 👇 8And it shall come to pass throughout all the land, says the Lord, two parts of it shall be cut off. They shall perish, and the third shall remain therein. 9And I will bring the third in fire; and I will refine them as one refines silver, and I will test them as one tests gold. He shall call in My name, and I will respond to him. I said, "He is My people"; and he shall say, "The Lord is my God." G-d has never replace the Jewish people 👇 Psalm 105:8-11 He has remembered His covenant forever, The word which He commanded to a thousand generations, The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac. Then He confirmed it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel for eternity. Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments. Deuteronomy 7:12 “Then it shall come about, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, that the Lord your God will keep with you His covenant and His lovingkindness which He swore to your forefathers. Judges 2:1 Now the angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim. Thank you for sharing!!! There has been something about Judaism ✡️ that has been calling me, all my grandparents were Catholic, I lived with them, and I was forced to go church, I never liked. However my father wasn’t religious, never ate pork or gave us pork, I got circumcised when I was born, unlike my grandparents he told us that god was something infinite, and wasn’t a man, that Jesus wasn’t god. Being Mexicans, most of my family came from Spain which had a very large Jewish population. After doing my family tree for the last 15 generations, I found last names that were Sephardi Jewish, I believe they forced to convert to Christianity, it is estimated that 20% of Spain’s population is of Jewish descent, descendants of the jews who were forced to convert more than 500 years ago. After watching many videos of Rabbi Tovia Singer, I realized that the Christian church is a fraud, it is one of the cruelest institutions that has ever existed.

My tendency for critical thinking coupled with a burning desire to seek for the Truth, no matter where it leads to, led me to start a lifelong quest. I've researched Science, Philosophy, Poetry, Art, Religion, Culture, Mysticism, History, Consciousness, Language, Psychedelics, Meditation and so on, for 15 years since I was 15 and until today when I'm 30 years old, literally half of my life. When I discovered the depth of the Torah, the divine instructions, when I discovered the Reality of God, everything changed, I was shocked. It took me a couple of years to understand. In Daniel 9:25, Daniel says when the Messiah will come. In Zechariah 9:9, He/Jesus came riding on a donkey, humble. In Genesis, it says, "Let US.." Jesus is God clothed in humanity. He has been seen all over the world by gentiles of different faiths. Many Iranians had visions, dreams, and visitations by Jesus; many converted to have a relationship with Him. There are Jewish people also discovering the richness of having a relationship with Him. In fact, just as God stated, His Chosen - the Jewish people will bless the nations. After watching Jonathan Cahn and Kirt Schneider a few years ago, I said the salvation prayers they led and God has done so much for me. During the middle of my sentences while praying in 2019, I confessed to God that I felt fear - instantly - He took it away! I witnessed a busy man in mind and body who changed into a peaceful man without use of drugs on the third day after praying for him. Jesus, the Prince of Peace. Jesus died as a lamb for my sins - the only perfect, blemish free lamb that could be substituted for my sins. He communicates with us in various ways. God is my Father, Lord, friend, counselor, provider, protector, and healer. Recently I've been noticing an increase of Jewish people coming to Jesus. A woman said she saw Him; she gave her testimony on So Be It.

I love that you could mutually decide to work past your ideological differences! Even within Christianity, there are ... problems. For example, I married a Catholic as a Baptist. And the only way I could do this was to personally swear to the Bishop of Madrid that I would raise my children Catholic. So I went to Mass for 20 years and even considered converting. I remember getting to the final class for Confirmation and I told the teacher, For me, it all comes down to your answer to one question ... do you believe in your heart that the only people in Heaven are Catholic? And he said, Yes. Such absolutism struck me as horrendously offensive to a loving God. To me, an enlightened person would have taken the position of Mother Theresa. "We should help a Hindu become a better Hindu, a Muslim a better Muslim, a Catholic become a better Catholic." Thank you. I think you just did!

Because I feel like I’m seeing a side that doesn’t match what I thought and I don’t want to commit my self to something and change it in a year. I have always felt a pull to Judaism, but never pursued it. And I think I genuinely need to.

The rabbis and other Orthodox folk were particularly incensed by the claim that spitting at Christians was an “ancient Jewish practice.”Some have maintained that it’s a custom among certain religious Jews to spit on the ground in the presence of “idol worshippers” to ward off the “evil eye.” Christian leaders and others have attributed the increase in these attacks to the presence in the Israeli government of extremist ministers, whom they accuse of encouraging anti-Christian delinquent behavior. Excellent video! I loved learning about your personal journey that brought you to Orthodox Judaism. :) Please, please do a video on the practical process and what you did! As you went through the conversion process, did the Beit Din have you and your husband change your dynamic at all? Such as having you live separate, no touching, no being alone, etc? How did you two navigate the process? If I may ask. My apologies if that is too personal a question. I agree with you, I see things very black and white, and struggle to see/understand the gray. When I first looked into Judaism, I looked at reform, and thought, "It seems like they're just for the holidays..." Then I looked at the Conservative branch, at first thinking I would practice that, but then thought, "It seems like just anything goes, like they just cherry pick what's convenient for them..." The more I learn about different mitzvahs, and the "why" behind it, the more I want to do and take on of mitzvahs. So Orthodox just naturally became the only real choice for me. Further, like you, I struggle to see "Reform" and "Conservative" branches as real Jews as well. I understand that Jews are supposed to see all Jews the same (Chabad in particular really seems to encourage this mentality), but my thought process is- if I can only be considered a real Jew by converting the Orthodox route (rightfully so), then why is it any different for someone to be born a Jew, but not truly observant (yet they are still considered a "real" Jew due to birth)? Therefore, I struggle to see secular, Reform or Conservative as really a Jew. Orthodox are the only ones truly striving to follow G-d. Though I have to remind myself everyone has their own journey, and at least they are on the path to G-d, and hopefully they will find their way to being observant. I have to say, I have seen a few different Orthodox youtubers do Q & A videos, and they ALWAYS get asked, "What do you think about Jews who are not Orthodox?" And every Orthodox youtuber has a polite way of circumnavigating answering the question. 😆I get a kick out of it. How has your parents handled your conversion? Kudos to you for being the one to look into and encourage your husband to follow Judaism! I think that is great that you were so interested to learn and seek answers. Your skit was hilarious. I truly laughed out loud- and excellent points! The finger lick when the missionary turns the page. 🤣 P.S. Sorry for the book's length of a comment.
@jayellealafi5797 Жыл бұрын
Hi Crystal, thank you for this comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I will work on a practical conversion information video. 😊 The Bet Din did have us alter our living situation when we reached a certain point. (Keep in mind every Bet Din and every conversion case is unique and may be handled differently.) Just to clarify, I do indeed see non-Orthodox Jews as fully Jewish, by the benefit of their birth. What the challenge was for me and what I challenged my husband with was more like, "how can you say you care about being Jewish when you don't practice or even know what you're supposed to do?" " What is this line between Jewish identity (in the sense of race) and observance and how can it be separated from Torah? You care about Jewish identity but not the religious aspect? I don't, to this day, have a good answer. 😊 But born-Jews who don't practice are still unequivocally Jewish. My parents took it hard in the beginning, understandably. 🥴 But they've come around. I think it's so awesome that you're learning and asking important questions! 💗
@Crystal11Skulls Жыл бұрын
@@jayellealafi5797 Yay! I look forward to your next video. I think it's very sweet that you and your husband grew in observance together. I'm sorry, I misunderstood! I understand what you are saying now. For me, when it comes to reform and conservative branches, I understand that everyone has their own path with G-d, and as long as they are connecting to G-d, that is the most important aspect. With that said, I see things very black and white, and although NO ONE is perfect and observant 100% of the time, at least in Orthodox it is clear that everyone is trying their best to be frum, and when I think of Mt. Sinai, G-d asked the people, "Will you follow and accept ALL of My Commandments?" Which is something reform and conservative branches seem to forget, and the half/half approach confuses me. I see it as, "Do you fully believe in Judaism? If yes, then striving to be frum should be the obvious goal. If someone doesn't fully believe in Judaism, then why practice at all?" And if it is a matter of them fully believing, but being unwilling to try to be observant, then how committed to G-d can one truly be? That's just my perspective though. I see things in absolutes, which is why I struggle to see reform and conservative as the same. Hopefully that makes sense. 😆 I'm happy for you that your parents came around! Thank you for answering my questions and for a great video. :)

Thank you for the in-depth information. It is very helpful in my search for truth. I appreciate that you respond to so many comments when we know you are a very busy woman. I am curious if you had similar concerns to mine in your conversion journey? I have been exploring orthodox Judaism and I'm reading some of the classic conversion books that are recommended. I find myself connecting deeply with what I am learning. I am hoping there is a path back to God but I remain wary of radical religious thinking that is fear-based and crushes the human spirit. Here is why. I grew up a protestant Christian but searched through the denominations to find the "right way" to worship God until I found Catholicism which was filled with meaningful ritual and theologically deep so I converted. I ended up in a Traditional Latin sect of Catholicism which is beautiful on the surface but toxic underneath with it's heavy emphasis on personal sin and vicarious suffering for other's redemption. (I still have scars from kneeling on the church floor during 2-hour masses/services). 10 years later life came crashing down and I abandoned ALL faith in a God. This may sound like a very silly analogy but it's like a child having believed in Santa Claus who finds out he isn't real. There is no way to believe again because your eyes have been opened. Saying that I am skeptical of religion is an understatement. I "pray" there is a way back to a real relationship with God.

Little Bird, your comment is so touching, I feel for where you are at. Spiritual journeys can definitely be winding and painful at times. May G-d give you strength. I'm happy to hear that you've been exploring Orthodox Judaism. For me, two of the ideas I learned during my own journey that had a profound effect, were that; a) G-d created the world out of sheer lovingkindness, and sustains it for the same reason. How can we not feel thankful and love back? b) G-d doesn't create people that he will then need to "save" (by killing Himself) or serve in any way. I can't accept a religion that teaches otherwise. People are made to know and serve G-d, and our souls know this even if our brains don't. Our soul craves a connection to Him, the Source of All. I hope you will keep going until you find your path. 🤗

Thank you, I'm sad because my son converted to Christianity because he hates me, I'm Jewish and feel like Christianity is like a cult ....his Mom is Catholic...and I feel the church ...did this separation between us...
@jayellealafi57977 ай бұрын
I'm sorry to hear about it. I'm not sure if you know this but Jewishness passes onto children only if their mother is also Jewish. This is the Torah law. If your wife is Catholic then your son is not Jewish, unfortunately . Christianity is a fake religion, idolatry, you're correct. Hopefully you're son will find his way out of it.

@@jayellealafi5797Judaism seeks out God. Only once in the history of mankind did a God come down to us. Jesus Christ is God. Whether you’re atheist or a Jew there’s no denying that one man’s life and death 2 thousand years ago flipped the world upside down. The western world is civilized and sane because we follow Christian traditions. The Catholic Church is the number one charity organization that provides education and hospital to poor across the globe. You are sadly losing out on the beauty of Gods love through Christ. Christ saves lives in the most hopeless cases daily. Doesn’t matter your genetics. We are all his children. ❤

Thank you so much for your detailed video I hope you will do more. Tha great thing you do is study!!! I like to study the texts and of course ask HaShem to help me. Studying Torah is a lifelong task. I wish you well in your studies and I wish you and your husband and family. Good Shabbos tomorrow night. You have a beautiful child - a gift from HaShem. Bill. - UK

HI, Happy Hanukkah! I would love to email you. I have so many questions. My dad's side is Jewish. My grandparents where in the Holocaust I have a deep connection to my Jewish roots. My mom is Christian, but both my parents are more so secular, and my mom really does a secular Christmas. She actually loves lighting the Hanukkah candles, and my dad enjoys making the tree. My husband is entirely Jewish, and we did a courthouse civil ceremony. I have some questions because I find conversion fascinating, and I'm inquisitive. Is there an email I can reach you?

I have also a question. Were you looking for the truth? Why you don't convert to Islam?
@majd_shoots Жыл бұрын
I wonder about that as well, and she avoids answering this question many times Even Tovia Singer is a big fan of Islam, how come she wasn't exposed to Islam by now?

Hello, I am so grateful that you decided to make this video. I have lived for years with unsettling convictions about Christianity, always sensing something was off. Not really knowing where to turn, living on the move constantly seeking my way home, over the years I would get glimpses of a different reality pointing to Judism, recently I lost my youngest son to suicide this took me deeper inside of myself and I chose to move towards HASHEM needing a more solid foundation I began observing shabbat, continue studying, only now Judism, for me it is a sense of HOME! MY SOUL IS AT REST WITH THE MITZVAHS

With the increase in antisemitism, I wouldn't wear a star of David. But I would wear a turban hatt. Since in Jewish law even divorced and widowed women cover hair.. I am divorced so I fit that category

I used to be a Christian, moved to a Jewish neighborhood in BK, prayed to G_d to reveal the truth and realized it was all a load of lies. I thought about converting, but decided not too. I’m not perfect, but God got me through it all. He saved me! The crazy thing is that I’m dealing with anger. I let so many people walk all over me in the name of the j man. All that Depression and self doubt from being judged was eating at my confidence and spirit, but once again God got me through it and he’s still working on me. BTW/ beautiful Family. G_d has blessed you immensely!

I am happy to hear your story, thank you for sharing! Nobody is perfect, and it's definitely not a requirement to convert, Judaism does not push conversion (but I'm sure you knew that :) I hope that G-d will give you peace and help you move forward, those people don't deserve your energy or a place in your emotions. Thank you, I am very blessed and thankful to Hashem. 😊💗

Could you make a video regarding how it’s like being a convert. Do you feel fully accepted by the community/family/friends? Do you sometimes have doubts? What if your children grow up not feeling spiritually stable in being a Jew? Etc. Thank you! If it’s possible ❤️
