I lost 75 lbs. by just eating once a day. it was hard at first, but now I don't really get hungry till supper time. If I do get hungry, I eat a protein bar.

Protien bars are a good idea. I lost 80 lbs once on what I called the "milk" diet. I had a big glass of milk in the morning and ate in the evening. Seemed to work so I might go back to that for a bit.

I was in your physical shape if you want to change that here is how I did it. If your testosterone is low, which I’m sure it is, get into Testosterone Replacement Therapy, just do a web search for TRT. You will get some nice muscle a lot of health benefits and the pounds will just melt right off. You will hear about this in the coming years but guys are doing it right now and getting their lives back. Thin, energetic, muscular. It’s not abusing steroids it’s just replacing testosterone that’s probably very low and reducing estrogen that is very high from years of being overweight. This comment will save your life quite possibly. Google effects of “low testosterone“ and again look up “TRT“ and you’ll see plenty of ads for places that make it very easy. Also , no CDL issues from any angle.

How is it being with a trainer and sharing a bunk as a bigger guy , do they make you climb up to the top bunk ? . Also during training i hear 4 people can be in a truck at once was this a issue im 5,10 about 460. Worried i cant do it
@bigmiketrucking4777
@bigmiketrucking4777 4 жыл бұрын
So my first trainer only made me sleep in the top bunk when we were sitting still for a 34 maybe. Other than that, I had a sleeping bag and a pillow and when it was my turn to sleep I would spread out my bag over his bed and sleep in that. Second trainer took the top bunk for himself and had me sleep on the lower one. And I've never heard of 4 people to 1 truck OTR. I have heard England does 3 now and I would say go with another company if you can. 2 is enough.

Hey bro I'm 340 and decided to go through USXpress next month. I'm scared they're going to turn me away. You think I'll have any issues?
@bigmiketrucking4777
@bigmiketrucking4777 5 жыл бұрын
As long as you can pass a DOT physical, you should be fine. The issue becomes what they may want you to do at USExpress. At England you had to walk under the trailer without holding on to anything(so basically just crouched walking or in my case bent over and waddling) and you had to climb into the trailer and stand up without touching the walls. I did both alright, but the climbing into the trailer was the hardest part for me. But I kept trying.
@shauncole5296

@@bigmiketrucking4777 thanks for responding dude. I heard at Usxepress they only make you go under a table that resembles the same height as a trailer. Hopefully I lose a few more pounds in a months time. Been on a diet. Wish me luck!

@@bigmiketrucking4777 actually do you think I'll have to get sent home to take a sleep test?
@bigmiketrucking4777
@bigmiketrucking4777 5 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure on the sleep test. I got a 6 month med cert the first time which got me trained and rolling. England actually paid for the test for me at the 6 month mark and at that time I DID NOT have sleep apnea. When I applied to DART in Dallas last year they required a test and I had to pay for it out of pocket then. So it just depends on the company. And good luck on losing weight man. I go up and down and down always feels better.

@bigmiketrucking4777
@bigmiketrucking4777 5 жыл бұрын
As long as you can pass the DOT physical I don't see why not. You've been diagnosed and you have the machine already. You'll just need to show proof that you've been using it at least 70% or more of the time you've owned it. That'll mean taking it to your doctor and getting a read out from the machine so you can show it to the DOT Physician.

I never had to. Once I fulfilled my 9 months I didn't owe them anything. And what I liked about England was that they didn't take money out at all while I worked for them. And if I finished the 9 months I wouldn't owe them a thing and they held up that deal.

DO THEY MAKE YOU USE A CPAP.........
@bigmiketrucking4777
@bigmiketrucking4777 5 жыл бұрын
I do have a CPAP and I have to use it 70% of the time. So basically 21 out of 30 days. But they make you take the test based on your neck size. You can still pass and not need a CPAP. But if you do I have heard that some companies are buying the machines and having the drivers pay them back. It's a good question to ask the recruiter. I didn't need one until last year. My first test they said I was fine.

As in, can I ask to drive one? Or can you ask to drive one? If you are starting out, most big carriers now have switched to autos. So you'll get an auto more than likely. As for me on the otherhand, I came out here to be a gearjammer and I will always be one for as long as I can.
