I'm a big fan of Kathleen myself, but part of what I love about her so much is her positivity, kindness, and authenticity, so I don't understand why people would be mean to you for doing right by yourself. This just made me like you so much more. I knew there was a reason why Loud Lacquer resonates with me! I was and still love KL polish so much. I loved KL Polish and was so sad when it ended. But! Knowing the reason why it ended is because it had powerful women behind who stood up for what was right makes my heart so proud! Thank you for sharing your story! I am happy to know how much heart you put into a brand I love! And just want to give you props for all that you did. I’m excited to try Loud Lacquer! Omg, can't believe you are THE Melody! I have yet to try LOUD Lacquer, but definitely would like to now. LOVE the bottles, and how they spell loud, and the idea of doing collections based on influencers! May we'll get a LOUD x LIGHTS LACQUER collab in the future?!???? 😍 I think showing the progression of how you started your brand, and everything else that goes into it, would be awesome to see!

What a difference 6 months makes.....i type as I anxiously await my pre-order and your September restock of the summer collection! I love what your brand stands for and what you and your team do as well. You seem so positive and like you would be really approachable and friendly in real life. I did a thing with a previous brand where I HAD to have every single polish released so I am making a conscious effort to not buy polishes that I do not love and not buy collections.....but you guys are making it hard not to! 💚

I love seeing women building each other up and not feeling like everything has to be a competition. So much stuff on KZbin is drama but it does NOT have to be that way. Also I love Kathleen so I’m really glad this didn’t turn out to be drama 😂 And KNOW YOUR WORTH AND DEMAND IT ALWAYS! no shame.

Incredible story! I first found out about Loud via Bailey Sarian ♡ I fell in love with your shades, and whole brand! My daughter's love nail polish, and I love the fact that I wouldn't have to worry about it on them. I cannot wait to get out of this bill mountain so I can buy a bunch!

I hope you and Kathleen are still friends. Since you both worked on KL Polish I am curious to see if you both try and replicate or do similar shades to some of KL's shades and formulas. I tried a set of 4 from Loud Lacquer not knowing anything about the brand bc of Bailey Sarian (seems like you found another Kathleen lol..you are good at what you do, marketing and color themes!) And just recently ordered some polishes from Lights Lacquer, but had no idea y'all worked together on KL Polish (never tried it but heard good things). Oddly, this video was recommended after I placed my order with Lights Lacquer 🥴

Do not compete clauses are dependent on where they are signed. In California, they do not apply to businesses with digital-only footprints. I signed a do not compete with my previous company and consulted with a lawyer before starting my own business. I've been doing it 3 1/2 years now.
