"Palabas" is the very first album that I've purchased using my high school money that I've saved. It was the Repackaged Edition so it was a very good deal. I was an aspiring drummer that day and followed a lot of that era's drummers' footsteps such as Chris Cantada, Vic Mercado, Tutti Carangal, etc. Seeing you again hold the drumsticks really gave off nostalgia feels, so thank you! Sponge Cola has a big contribution in my growing years. From 2006 up until now, their songs bring comfort and inspiration in my life journey. I learned how to explore places because of them. Going from one gig to another kahit minsan inaabot pa ng madaling araw at napapagalitan pa. I met different people because of them that eventually some of them became friends na nakakasama ko pa rin sa mga gigs. Knowing them is like embarking on an adventure. Knowing them is a blessing. It's a huge plus na lang na makilala ka rin ng members especially ni kuya Yael eh (Yael doesn't want the idea of me calling him kuya though 😂😁✌️). Hindi ko man nakilala ng mas matagal si (kuya) Chris, because when I officially started going to their gigs regularly si kuya Tedmark na yung dummer that time. But when he started doing music as a solo artist, I was able to meet him and know him personally. Kuya Chris is such a nice guy. He makes you feel comfortable around him and his love and support for Sponge Cola did not end when he decided to leave the band because of health reasons. 😊

For me, Palabas was one of the most memorable albums of the mid-2000s. Lunes and KLSP were absolute Rock anthems at the time. What gravitated me to that album is that among all the bands that were featured outside of Nu107, you had the heaviest guitar tone and the most expressive drumming. Are there truths to rumors that at one point, you recorded an album which was highly influenced by 30 Seconds To Mars but was thumbed down by the record label due to being "too technical" and they wanted something "masa" because it's bankable? Thanks!

Still remember your performance in Robinsons Lipa back in 2004. Me and my friends are the only ones jumping and enjoying the experienece. I'm sure the others do too but we're just too obvious with our actions. I was disappointed when you left after Transit. That was the very first album that I bought from my own money. And on top of the other hit singles in thag album, Myself In You is one of my favorites.
