That is a brilliant video. I haven't followed the Mets for so long, but your video rings true for me. I worked in Montauk in summer of 1986. The Mets were riding high, and went on to win the World Series. I returned to Ireland & have followed them from Afars since then. You are right following them is not easy. But somehow, it makes you appreciate life, sport and character.

i know. i lived very close. seeing those neon lights as a kid...i thought it was disney world. to and from high school i used to see that stadium. i was at that bridge leading from the subway to the stairs where you could see the field from. i was there when todd pratt hit that HR that sent use to the NL championship game (im pretty sure) i RAN home to a screaming mom lol. memories i will NEVER forget.

Mariners fan here. I can understand the kind of suffering that comes with being a Mets fan. Mariners have 38 seasons of play under their belt. Only 12 of those seasons have been winning seasons, pretty much among the worst for MLB teams. At least the Mets have 2 World Championships and 4 NL Pennants. Mariners still haven't clinched a pennant, one of only two teams to date with that distinction.
