This makes me miss kerala so much. I was born in kerala but brought up in Mumbai. How we would wait for summer vacation to travel to kerala. In 90s we use to take the train which took 3 days to reach kerala from Mumbai. I always look forward to eating chakka, kappa and meen curry. Hope i can visit kerala this time around. When my father was alive we had lots of land in Kerala but the best is the jackfruit and mango orchards. Of course the coconut trees and arecanut plantation where you could always get toddy and make desserts with it. I miss all the fruits red apples and bananas.
