Hello Richard! I am also an entrepreneur since 1988 (or since I was born?) and I would love to be invited to your Island. Love kitesurf a lot like you but but haven't had the time and money to practice it as much as I like to. The reason is I have not yet succeeded in my trade (pawn shops) like you. I haven't kite surfed for 10 years now but loved it and thinks it ideal for the UK. What with falconry, climbing and running a business I need to invent a time machine to extend the days.

Not likely. You need open space with steady wind. A small lake would cause wind shadows and turbulence from trees and land. Move to the beach.

I'm very sorry but Kitesurfing was not invented only 12 years ago. It was well before that and it became a mainstream sport in 1999, which is 15 years ago.
