Why I Love Mt. Bachelor | Austin Smith

Our friend and professional snowboarder, Austin Smith, lived in his fire truck at Mt. Bachelor from New Year's Eve through early February. "When I was 15 I snowboarded here every day... I wanted to do that again this year," and that is exactly what he did. January brought 108" of new snow followed up by 119" in February. We're not sure he could have timed it any better because it has been an epic season to say the least!

I remember I was interning at Exit in Portland back in like 2010 and Austin Smith and his friends came in just to hang out. Had no idea who he was, but he was extremely nice. He asked me if I was good at snowboarding and I was 16 so I said yeah. When I asked him he said he was just alright. Wasn't until they left that my manager informed me...

Good video. My dad had a 1950 GMC one ton truck with a hydraulic dump bed. I learned to drive in that truck at age 13. See ya on the mountain!

If my grandpa were still alive, he would think the fireRV is the radest thing ever. He was a fireman with the title of Ladder Truck driver and was a wood workers as a hobbyist... Doing my season pilgramige to Bach in 2 weeks, vid has me mega stoked. Meadows is fun, but Hood just can't compete with Bach. Side note, Pete needs a raise, his videos are always so clean and creative

I own a 1953 gmc dump truck I love them because there easy to work on all you need is a new set up points and plugs that's all that goes wrong with these trucks nothing else LOL if not a new coil

Yeah buddy! We got more snow! It's the middle of May and Bachy's got fresh powder lines. Too bad they're only running Pine, Skyliner, and Summit until 1:30. When it's this good!? Two weeks left of lift access.

i love Bachelor, 1st trip was in 84. in 91 my buddy & i were there and he had a very unfortunate, freaky crash, 181 stitches to his nut bad and reattaching a testicle. true story skiers, true story.
