you can just have a monthly plan for your phone, I've had one for at least 7 years now, topping up is probably still a thing for some (I know just one friend that does that), but usually if you have a somewhat regular income you go for a plan 'cause it's less hassle and, depending on how much you use your phone, can be even cheaper than topping up.

so as a student studying psychology in the USA, i do want to point out that most professionals do believe that ADHD is actually under-diagnosed. “not paying attention” is the most common way the average person perceives ADHD, but the symptoms actually come in different forms, which leads to under-diagnosis of some populations (like girls). i’m again just a student so i don’t know everything, but i do think it’s dangerous to imply over-diagnosing and over-medicating when so many people aren’t diagnosed and can’t get the medication that they need for ADHD, even in America. i’d love to talk more about this and specify further reasons for what i say, but this is long already LOL sorryyyy

It’s definitely a culture thing to believe in different methods of “treatment” when it comes to certain behaviors. There are pros and cons, but important to remember that medication is often addictive and it is common in the US to turn to it rather than something natural that could possibly work just as well or better. I personally believe that the reason is because it is a business in the US (making a lot of money) more than an honest way of curing someone..

I am a big guy and I love my bidet. Initially I thought that it wasn’t “manly” enough. But over time I didn’t care. From Kentucky

How about the language barrier in Italy. Is it mandatory to learn the Italian language as international student.?

I disagree. Italians snack but perhaps less. Aperitivo I’ve never seen in the USA.

You just, like, have to put up with, umm, doing your laundry different, and, umm, have to put trash where it belongs, and, umm, they have bidets like, umm, we don't have that in America, lol.

In the USA, unless your German or Irish, your auslander unless of course you are a restaurant ,then now of course they must temporarily suspend your auslander status to pile it down to the stomach which is where the feelings turn on.

I was born in Chicago but I’m actually from Nebraska! I always miss my family but definitely prefer life here in Italy by the sea ;)
