Why I Love Parkrun (Featuring My 100th Parkrun)

For myself, along with hundreds of thousands of other runners around the world, Saturday mornings start with parkrun. This free timed 5k race is organised by the community for the community, and it has been a big part of my life for a long time.
Having recently completed my 100th parkrun, I decided it was time to do some reflecting on this awesome event which has become a staple in my weekly routine. In this video, I'll share some reasons for why I love parkrun. Hopefully they'll encourage you to sign up and start parkrun, or to get back to taking part if you've not done so for a while.

Cheers Mark! I'd say just go to the website, sign up (takes seconds), get your barcode on your phone, and away you go! You can do any parkrun and have your time recorded on your athlete profile. It's wicked!
