Great video. How do the battery life do when is not connected to wifi do it still hold up for the whole day or no? That's if you be using it without wifi too. But, Thinking about getting a pixel trying something new rather using a iPhone but wanted to know about the battery life without wifi bc I dont have wifi at home at least not Yet anyways. Bc I see some ppl say that without wifi pixel phones don't last as long or something to that extent.

yeah its really odd, this phone has better performance than A55 and is more comfortable to hold and longer software support. I think the true reason is that the A55 looks more like a modern flagship, and this phone does not. Plus Samsung has a much larger loyal fanbase than the Pixel does and so that can play into it.

because in my country it currently costs more than an a55, as much as an s23 and I can get the same performance from a phone half it's price, if I can afford pixel 8a I have no problem in buying a pixel 8 for a little more, if I can't afford 8a I have options like pixel 7, 7a for way less.....

Got this for my wife and it is so underrated. I use an 8pro and after playing with this one, I am definitely getting the smaller handset with the pixel 9

The battery life is great, it's not a beast but it'll get you through an entire day and even one and half days depending on your usage, the only time when the battery drained quickly was one I setup the phone but that happens mostly due to the amount of background apps running and setting up. I strongly suggest you use it quite frequently during the initial stages so that the phone can be aware of your usage patterns, making the experience much more worth it.

I'm looking to upgrade from my Samsung 21fe. The pixel 8a might be my next phone, but I'll wait til the phone is at least $100 cheaper. My only concern with the phone itself is the relatively slow charging. Even my 21fe has faster charging.

I was really excited about getting this phone to replace my 6a (which I love) but, having seen one and tried it in Store, on the day it came out, I noticed that the "rounded corners," which I was looking forward to, seemed to protrude/bulge out making the aesthetic seem weird. Now, every time I look at it, that's all I see 😉😉 Maybe a case would help? So, I'm now pondering getting the 7a (if it's worth it) or waiting till the 8 drops in price. Having seen "leaks" of the 9, the Camera Island on the back looks pretty hideous to me!

Pixel 6a owner here. I love the new Pixel 9 design and the camera is more Material You like design, more cohesive. That's my own personal opinion. I'll probably upgrade to Pixel 9 Pro or 10 series, as 6a still does everything I need.

in my opinion tensor needs a power upgrade the 8a should get the g3 and like the 8/ 8 pro should get like a g3 plus that maybe benchmarks at least like an iphone 13 pro or 14 pro which are way faster in a geekbench test ik everything isnt about geekbench but it would be nice to see more power in them

I have not seen it on my 8a. Tried all the software they complained about. And I have only seen one video evidence of it on youtube. The funny thing is that it was in one of the easiest to render things that was jittery in scroll.

No if your coming from a 6a it’s not big deal, you will notice it if you compare to a thin bezel flagship phone like the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, also you’ll adjust after a couple days

It gets warm when using 5G modem from my experience. But it does not happen too often, since I have the adaptive network on which means it will stay on 4G unless your app needs higher bandwidth and then switches to 5G. 4G also saves on battery

Both are amazing phones that'll be supported for many years to come, if you use iMessage then I'd stay with Apple. If not get yourself a pixel 💯

Long term wise the Pixel 8a has more support, it also has longer battery life than 13 and is modern with the AI features, but the 13 is a great used pick up. I think as an 11 user, the 13 would probably be the better pick for you. The standard Pixel 8 will feel like a better upgrade from the 11 the 8a. The 8a is more in line with the SE line from Apple.

Don't you guys in the States or Europe face network issues or heating issues with the Tensor chips? It's a pretty common problem in India since the P7. As an ex-4A user, really hurts to see the state of Pixel phones in India. 😢

Unfortunately 8a has a rigid oled panel which causes some colours distortion and rainbow effect.
