How are you maximizing your interface I/O in your home studio?

What round trip latency are you getting? Logic pro m1 mac? 64 128 256 buffer 41 48 96khz 24 bit recording. How many dsp plugins can be used before dsp processors give up. Regards

But - you aren't recording the Kemper in stereo - so if you are using any reverb or delay from that it won't wound right - correct?

So you don't record stereo from the Kemper? Its always either XLR or the Hi-Z input?

Nice tutorial my friend!! I have a question: I have the same interface, but unfortunatelly I dont have a Kemper, so I plug my guitar straight int the Hi-Z input.. My question is, about the unison plugins, for recording my guitar, do you feel the need of having one? Do you think it will help for recording the DI? If so, do you recommend the neve you are using? Or, do you think that going straight in the HI-Z without any unison, for recording my guitars, are the way to go? Thanks my friend! Just got to know your channel! And just subscribed! Have you ever had any issues with hissing/buzzing from the Hi-Z di input? For some reason when I plug my guitar into it it's pretty bad but doesn't happen on other interfaces 🤔 Would love to know your thoughts on fixing it if you have.

Very helpful, i am looking forward to get one of these, i have a fast track pro m-audio for a long time, so it will definetly be an improvement… i was wondering, since i am a very begginer in the mixing/recording universe, do you think the Twin Duo will be enough or the Quad is too much? How many plugins does the Twin Duo can run, i am planning, to use the plugins on maybe three, bass, drum samples, vocals, overdubs, and so on, not at the same time tho… can i use the uad plugins, after the tracking, without using the Apollo Dsp, using the computer ram? I’m trying to decide between the twin x and the heritage, are there big differences between the two?

@@fanessmusic3841 I may be mistaken, but I believe the heritage edition apollos just include some extra plugins that don’t come with the standard version. I don’t think there are any actual hardware differences. I may be wrong on that, but if I remember correctly, that’s what I understood when purchasing this unit a few years ago.

Hey, thanks for checking out the video! Yes unfortunately at the moment, I really never have both of my synths connected at the same time. I do have a cable running to my interface from the synth’s stand though and I’ll just unplug and replug whichever synth I want to use.

From what I understand, I think the differences are pretty minute. I’m not sure exactly what those differences are between the Twin and the Twin X. Maybe thunderbolt 2 vs 3?
