Spencer Flare alot of non binary people take T on low doses or estrogen on low doses and take other hormone balancing medicines to create a more "inbetween" and yes T lowers your voice and 99% of the voice drop will not reverse, alot of people stop T once they feel comfortable with their new voice range. And im pretty sure ALL trans and non binary folk already know about vocal training, it can only do so much.

Spencer Flare well thats your opinion and your own expirience in your body, doesnt mean other people feel as if theyre non binary or agender. Gender is a social construct to help categorize characteristics in the two 'sexes' alot of countries and cultures recognize more than 2 (genders). Medical care sucks in alot of places, non binary folk expirience dysphoria as do trans people, thats why some identify as trans, they feel as if they are something other than what they were born as. And dont forget the large amount of Intersex people seeking transition to help fix what was taken from them at a young age. The list goes on. there is absolutely NO reason to keep any individual from seeking help through gender therapy and or medical transitions. That is gatekeeping at its bare minumum, wether you believe non binary is real or not, you should respect others who are suffering in their bodies as well.

Spencer Flare uhhh nonbinary trans people accessing hormones doesn't mean binary trans people have less access, it's not like taking a piece of pie and leaving less for binary trans people. Let (valid) trans people of all genders access hormones if that's what they choose to do and if it makes them comfy, who are you to dictate the validity and necessity behind someone's desire for hormones? I'm nonbinary and have been on testosterone for 6 months and it's the best thing I've ever done. I tried lowering my voice pre-t but it really strains your voice and I didn't pass as anything other than female most of the time despite binding and having a masc haircut and looking relatively masculine intentionally please....stop

I'm AMAB NB (graygender). I can tie a neck tie. How the fuck do you treat a snake bite? Run from snakes I can do it if there's plenty of room. It's hard. Of course I tell a joke.
