Investing in property is the reason why the housing market is so extortionately expensive. Buy-to-let landlords have bumped up the price to the point where over 3 million families cannot afford to buy a family home for themselves. Diversifying and investing your money elsewhere is one of the most ethical ways to become "financially free", instead of exploiting tenants.
