The best thing is we know you tell it how it is, if you hadn’t gelled with either car you would have said so and that’s what makes your channel stand out from the rest, incredible videography and a true petrol head (I loved that you apologised that you hadn’t put up any drone shots etc due to travelling light only to follow up with some beautiful drone shot scenery 😂😂) keep up the great content but more importantly enjoy your time away with your wife and newborn they are more important than any car Vlog 👍🇬🇧

back in the day we had a clk 55 coupe, regular non black that was great then the missus wanted the convertible version, which was fine with pros and cons. more direct sunshine, but less stable and more jelly lovely cars, back in the day

Agreed. And when he says that 2,000 rpms is all he needs, I completely agree. The 664 ft lb grunt of my S63 AMG Cab starting at 2,250 rpm is so phat. Then the comment about simply putting car in sport mode for the glorious, guttural downshifts that the tranny picks on its own (perfectly). I rarely get into the high rpms/full hp - though there are those moments when you have to have it all! Lovely guy sharing his genuine enthusiasm and warmth. Couldn't ask for anything more in a car video.

I’ve also got a V8 CLK. You can get the gearbox TCU tuned and it really sharpens the shifts, but more importantly, makes it listen when you ask it to change gear. Great all round car.

Carlsson tuned the c/s204 up untill almost the same power figure, 636 I believe and has the intake from an sls, they had to change the hood to make it fit.

CLK DTM. Its a wild car....you don't see them very often, so an opportunity to drive one mustn't be missed. I love this car....cant understand why Tim doesn't have one in his 'Black' collection along side his C63 AMG Black. I would choose this above an SLS Black. In fairness a C63 AMG Black sounds better!
