I'm glad I got your video in my feed. It is a very honest, relatable and realistic look at what this project management is like. Good jobs are in short supply nowadays. I hope you find work you can enjoy and look forward to

@@ExistanceNot thank you so much 😊🙏 totally, and I also think that if we get creative we can find something that suits us pretty well :)

@@ChrisiStilli wow interessante Entwicklung! Wie bist du vom Scrum Master in den öffentlichen Dienst gekommen?

Great to see you again, Katharina! I totally get the struggle of sticking to just one product - it can get boring fast. That’s why I love being in a UX team and working with 2-3 teams at once. It keeps things interesting. Having a pet project also helps a little bit (but yeah, it takes your free time). Can’t wait to hear about your next job in the next video ✌️

@@HugoLofquist thanks Hugo! That sounds like a lot of variety, being in 2-3 teams at the same time. Are you a UX designer or PM there? And yes having creative things going on the side like KZbin or something else is essential 😜

@@katharinaalf I’m a designer, but I did consider becoming a PM. The reasons I didn’t go for it are pretty much the same as what you mentioned in a video. Pixel-perfecting isn’t really my thing either, but I think if a person finds a product with a solid design system, it’s basically like working with Lego. Lately, I’ve felt like I want to go even further- like coding or fully owning a site or an app. That’s why I started a pet project.

Are you me? Can relate to everything you've said, especially the part about losing interest once you understand something to a certain degree. Are you an ISTP?
@katharinaalf13 күн бұрын
@@Chris3015 hahah glad someone can relate 😅 I’m an INFP actually. Not sure what that says about my need for variety haha
@Chris301513 күн бұрын
@@katharinaalf Ahh INFP makes sense :) Not sure how deep you are into MBTI, but if you are interested you can look into the underlying functions of your personality type. In your case Fi-Ne-Si-Te, the most important one in this case would be Ne. "...Ne counters by rallying for more options and alternatives." Your type likes to explore ideas and new things, so it makes a lot of sense that you don't like to stay on one thing for too long :)
