I have been using a white iPhone 11 since June 2021, upgraded from SE 2020 and so far I have been loving it. Screen, battery, camera. I haven’t ever liked more a phone than this one. Great video Will! I love the maturity of recognizing what’s best for yourself and your channel over the latest fads. I’ve been using this iPhone 13 mini (upgraded from the 12 mini due to battery improvements) and I adore it! I’m curious, do you notice the sensor size difference between the 12 and 13 line? I immediately noticed better natural bokeh going to the 13 mini, but I also used to teach iPhone photography so I might notice these things more 😅 Also, you might want to invest in AppleCare given all the case-less shots you need to take and being prone to breaking things haha. AppleCare can give a phone higher resale value when you do switch too!

I really enjoy the sincerity of you daily use videos. Still using my iPhone 6S, though I don't take it along very much. Will switch to an iPhone Mini whenever Apple stops the security updates for the 6S. By then, the iPhone Mini price will drop down to my level.

Great video as always ! I did the opposite. Went from a 12 to a 13 mini as (a geek) I wanted to experience the mini. It’s a great phone with a nostalgic vibe. The iPhone 12 in 2022 is still a great choice though !

@@coolrockstar32 honestly I didn’t feel a huge difference. But I would say that the battery of the 12 is slightly better. I’m never far from a charger so it’s not stressful but if you are a power user I would still recommend to get a bigger model.

@@christianmartin7692 I could get a 12 or 13 mini now, with my budget. But I'm worried about battery life as I'm a heavy user. I never play games mostly only social media and binge watching shows. If I were to get 13 I'd have to wait till Oct 😅

@@coolrockstar32 if you are a heavy user and binge watch shows I would maybe recommend the 12 as the bigger screen will be more confortable for watching contents. The 13 mini is great but definitely feel more like a compact phone. I used to have an iPhone 11 Pro and the battery was way better than the 12 or 13 mini. But I love the boxy design of the new ones :) And of course if you can’t wait until October, I recommend the regular 13 which has a better battery than the 12 😅

Good video. Guess only the cameras really change much these days.. Sold my Samsung Note 10 plus last year and kind of regretted it so bought a Note 20 ultra used off ebay a month ago.. have the iPhone 13 Pro too.. cameras are the most important to.me especially the zoom lenses as I use them a lot.

I am still rocking an iPhone XR 128gb which I bought back in March 2019. I've got no issues with the phone, it's still very fast and I consider it as one of my best purchases so far! I am taking good care of it, in a case from day 1 and with a screen protector it looks like new although I have dropped it 2-3 times it didn't take any damage whatsoever. I'm going to keep it until iPhone 15 launches, sometime in September 2023, since I'm planning to upgrade it then. It's battery health is at 89%, not great not terrible :P I might have to change the battery at some point, maybe when it drops to 85% health. Cheers!

@Kingmanification You should update it to 15.5 yes absolutely for the security updates . Battery life is ok, we're close to the end of the iOS 15 update cycle so the OS has been refined a lot. Personally I always wait when they release the new iOS until they release the .2 update and then I upgrade.

best way to prevent maxing out the memory is using icloud storage, there are 5gb, but also a monthly plan can get you more, up to 50gb if im not mistaken. also switching to a new phone with less/more battery is totally up to you. i recommend 128/256, anything more or less than that is a bit useless
