Just wanted to throw in a few tips 😊 Firstly, you can actually pull uncut rolls of film through the lomography digitaliza holders. Secondly, and more important of the two tips. Also possible explanation for the green tinge on your photos is that you didn’t crop the borders out when doing the conversion. You can actually set border crop settings in conversion or what I prefer to do personally is to just crop out all borders when doing conversion. The only point of the border is to get your white balance by picking it. If you want to have borders in your photo after converting the file you can go back to crop function and open up to have borders in the photo again. Thirdly, as for dust, the best recommendation is to clean your workspace before scanning, clean the surface, put together your rig and clean with rocket blower and then get going and I intermittently dust every so often while scanning, that eliminates most of the dust while scanning for me 😊 Cool to see you get a bit more hands on, look forwarding to future videos! Keep it up 😁

Oh thank you! I don’t develop my own film at the moment but I’ll request for it uncut next time!

Ahhh that’s a good idea 😅 My desk is under my bed so I think I might have to change locations for scanning, there must be a lot of dust in my room haha

Thank you for the tips! I’ll give them all thought when I try scanning next 😀

@@Havenotats no worries I don’t either, don’t currently have the time to do it but I request uncut rolls at my lab and it’s no cost to them. Think I’m going to give developing a go of my own in the next couple weeks though.

What a wonderful and helpful video! I am curious when you enlarge it does it keep up with the scans you had in the lab? I guess an easier way of saying it is the clarity good when you enlarge it?
@Havenotats2 жыл бұрын
For the most part yes! I think It’s quite decent quality Especially if you compare it with standard scans!

Negative Lab is a seperate plug in that you have to purchase. They give you a small trial if you want to test it out though!
