Why I'm Worried About SATURDAY

All of Saturday's song are soo good. I don't see anything wrong with deleting the old member's photos on social media. I find that pretty normal considering the members left for private reasons and may have not wanted to be identified as an idol anymore. that being said, saying the company is trying to erase them is a reach. Nonetheless, I am excited for more music by Saturday and hope they have enough funds to keep going. Edit: *hamster emoji* lol

I remember when SATURDAY were still a pre-debut group and I was like "they are gonna be like MY group", I was one of the first 100 ppl to follow them on IG even. I remember when they introduced Sion and I was like... she looks similar and than I found out it was RyuA (and LIPBUBBLE were/are my ults) so it was like destiny.

I just assumed "Only You" was supposed to be like a special comeback, like "To sunday Christmas" or "To Sunday Gwiyomi" (cuz SATURDAY like to realease a special single every year). But this time they decided to make physical copies of the album. This would explain the: basic font, weird texture, that clearly overlaps and the different packaging size of the album and also why "In Your Eyes" is on the album 🐹

in your eyes was just re-recorded to include juyeon and minseo, since the original only had haneul, ayeon, and yuki. they had no reason to continue distributing sion and sunha’s cover or chohee’s solo now that they were no longer associated with the company.

I think they did the physical comeback because there was a the Korean site fundraiser (not Makestar for some reason) for it, so they had to reward patrons somehow. And I'm sure the lack of promotion was due to C0V1D, as it affected all groups and companies, especially small ones so badly.

I was so worried that their company would go under (like so many other small kpop companies) because of the pandemic, only having 2 stage outfits and minimal promotions was probably all the company could afford at the time, but I hope they do more crowdfunding to get extra promotional opportunities like they did during Wifi era. I love Saturday! :(

I really hope SD entertainment takes advantage of Make Star, they have proven before that it works and can reach the goal amount (example getting more then double the goal they wanted for extra wifi promotions ) And with the current state of their latest comeback it's evident that Saturday could really use the extra money boost. I really like this group and want to see them have a nice mv, and more stages.

Another thing that left me thinking is that former members all left the industry or took a break from it... Maybe something really bad happened to them or they weren't just cut out (anymore) for idol life, who knows. I'm glad that at least this line-up has been stable for nearly two years. Bbyong was one of my favorite songs of the year when it released, and it's still one of those songs that I CANNOT skip if it comes up on shuffle. I would be sad if the group ended up disbanding, even if I haven't been as hyped about anything they released after. I'm honestly surprised they aren't more popular. Seriously, Bbyong is so good! 🐹

Saturday is my second favourite active group and I have been very worried about them. But recently they have been very active on social media and done some individual promotions and so I hope that means that they are trying to find ways to keep going even though they have a small budget. With only you they also got to see the fandom power of Sunday who managed to hit the makestar goal and thus show that we Sunday do not want to give up on our girls. I'm really hoping for a "real" comeback in 2021.

Considering how much time has passed and how little we've seen and heard since Only You, this is beyond worrying. Only You seemed to be even less successful than their earlier releases, perhaps the drastic change in style was too unexpected for people. I am afraid they will spend the next years "training" and nothing else until finally being disbanded. I would be so happy to hear any news that tell me otherwise. I have the impression that most people have simply forgotten them.

I love Saturday, they're adorable -- I got into them with the Wifi era. They really do deserve better and had amazing songs - I'm not sure what happened with "Only You", I thought it was just a winter release, not an official comeback, especially with the video. I would love for a larger company with more resources to absorb SD Entertainment so Saturday has a better chance at succeeding. Can you please do a video on Imfact or Ariaz? They're both from Star Empire, but have been pretty quiet lately. Ariaz just posted a video, but they've been talking about a comeback for months.

I think Ariaz' special release might be a prelude for a comeback, but I don't really trust Rising Star Entertainment so we'll need to keep an eye on them. On the other hand, IMFACT are inactive because several members enlisted; in the mean time, Taeho had his solo debut last month and Lee Sang had, if I'm correct, an acting role and some OSTs

I was one of their first 100 instagram followers, I love this girls, they're so freaking talented and the charisma they have is priceless, I've been worried for them since the changes started happening, I remember commenting when the Mmok Jji Bba thumbnail changed from Chaewon to Yuki. I'm so sad they had to go under a really hard time. Honestly now I don't seem to be as worried for them because I see the members having opportunities individually, Haneul making music with other artists, Yuki and Ayeon in the kids show, I see them posting regularly on KZbin with subs. Like despite the hardships they've come a long way, I also took Only You like a Fans special release, not so much as a comeback of course I wished it was a comeback but with C0rona, I appreciate they did it like to reunite some funds, I'm really hoping things are slowly but surely establishing with them and their company, I hope a comeback is in the works and I wish the best for them 💚

Sion and Chohee were roommates. Sion, on Wifi in particular, was doing most of the singing and clearly was being featured along with Haneul. You see them on variety shows and Chohee was the spirit of the group. Then, boom, gone. Nothing said anywhere. Seemed very fishy.

I unfortunately slowly lost interest in Saturday shortly after Chohee and Sion left :( I'm still cheering for them and hoping for the best though. They deserve so much more. I'm glad Chohee's not completely MIA like she was for a while, but I still wonder what could have been. She was the core of Saturday and seemed like the perfect idol performer 🐹

I’ve been following them from debut and honestly I think the majority of their issues come from being from a small company. I’m really glad they decided to stop adding members after they became 5, It’s allowed the group to become stable and that’s ultimately best for the girls. I’ve collected the albums/photocards too and it’s so obvious they struggled for funding with only you but then It was impossible for international fans to support the fundraising campaign for it which made no sense. I think they’ll be okay if they keep using makestar because sunday are a very supportive fandom but yeh

hello!! i understand your concerns, and i also agree with some of them (like the amount of members leaving etc.) but i think you’re missing some stuff and that some of your points need to be clarified. 1. removing ex-members from sns and album covers isn’t an uncommon thing to do once members leave the group. i’m assuming its a contract thing, but i wouldnt see this as a concern. it is annoying however, because some covers and stuff have been deleted

I love your videos and all the research you do :) I love Saturday, I'm a Sunday since Mmook Jji Bba. I personally don't feel worried about them (a bit anxious tho) because Yuki and Ayeon are working on a TV show, Minseo is working on a web drama (and she sang a song for the OST) and the whole group has been named embassadors of fruit in Korea (or something like that), so they have been on ads during the beginning of the year. They changed their hair (and that sort of means there's a comeback coming) and are still doing video calls for Sunday. Also, they are very active lately (they upload a video once or twice a week). I do want them to release a comeback/teaser/something, but I feel they are doing Ok. Hopefully SD ent takes advantage of Makestar and lets other Sundays help them. I noticed that the girls have iPhones, so maybe that means money is not a current issue (?) but that's a personal opinion. Btw, could you talk about ARIAZ? 💕🐹
