Why I Made an Ironman Account on OSRS and You Should Too!

Ironmen are built diff it's way too grindy for me at least in the late game and combat achievements made mains enjoyable again to me.

@@random1237 totally feel that man, definitely isn't for everyone, but I encourage you just to try! I always felt the same way until I actually made one!

Started an iron but I think it will only be the mid game that appeals. The late game on iron, i.e camping raids and Nex, seems pretty much the same as a main account only you have to upkeep all your own food, pots and supplies in between.

I'll never play as an ironman bc it kills the most fun of runescape: the player driven economy

@@RizzyGyatt haha hey man like I said it's not for everyone for sure! And tbh I said the same thing forever until I actually just made one and played it lol. But I get it why people don't want to play as one I really do!

You can also play like a Ironman now with the collection log update tbh

-Never bossed or raided, avoided the fun part of the game. -Played like a slave to the gp. Checks out. -Plays ironman to force himself to do stuff he didn't enjoy doing. Well, at least you get to enjoy maxing again doing skilling the inefficient way.

@@TheHeedbo lol friend it wasn't like I didn't enjoy bossing or raiding, it was simply there wasn't much of a point in learning when I could just buy the items they provided rather than grinding them out to get the drops. With being an iron I've fell in love with bossing, and have taught myself toa which I love and plan on doing cox and tob as well! Also, the beauty with being an iron... The escape from "efficiency scape". You can do whatever method you want without feeling the need to do it a certain way.
