Welcome!!! I live in ABQ and have for most of my life and I used to be in the car business - including Honda. Do NOT send your kids to public school, especially, ABQ public schools. If you can afford it, send them to a private school. If you want to know why NM is as bad as it is, look at what party runs the state and the policies they enact. That same party, runs the state top to bottom and has for generations.

My wife is a teacher here. School system is light years behind than New York

Been in New Mexico for 10 years. I despise it. From school systems to the economy. Currently thinking about trying Texas out. Got family out there that are in the car business. Abq is gorgeous when it comes to the outdoors. Besides that. It’s a hill climb

I always thought of New Mexico but the snow turns me off. I don't know how dry it gets, Las Vegas was really dry in February when I went out there. I moved to Miami From Queens. But... Can't make money here, can't own a house here. I wonder how the traffic is in Albuquerque. Also when it comes to dating... for people in their 30s and early 40s.

You won’t have to worry about snow in Albuquerque. It barely snows unless you live more north of Albuquerque. There is hardly any traffic here in comparison to New York. But since coming here, I've noticed a rise. I haven't dated here, so I'm not sure how things work there either.

I used to live in Albuquerque… like he said the snow is not bad in Abq.. the crime is horrible .. unbelievable… it wasn’t always that way, I lived in Abq when downtown was nice .. I first lived in Santa Fe, then moved to Rio Rancho, then Abq.. Culturally it’s was so backwards.. phew.. like he said it’s not diverse.. horrible schools, wouldn’t raise a child there .. NM is known as a welfare state… a lot of poverty The weather is not bad.. I miss the weather I worked as a hospice liaison, people were shocked to see a black person ring their doorbell when I arrived to coordinate care. The older Native American and Hispanics would tell me about serving in the military having to go to Alabama.. the Deep South.. they didn’t understand folks being forced to sit at the back of the bus … I used to hear some stories Overall it’s a beautiful state, some of the prettiest skies you will ever see It’s worth taking the time to explore the entire state.. most of the states is not populated so unfortunately it’s easy to set up meth labs The state has an atrocious drunk driving problem.. unbelievable.. high suicide especially among the native Americans.. it’s heartbreaking I could go on about the state.. lived there for about 13 years .. I also lived on Kirtland Air Force base for a year, it’s located in Abq.. Good it’s working for him

@@Shakeem Good, I've seen some snow on google maps there. I wouldn't want to be stuck with my civic in it there.
