Well... reports of constant civil wars in various African countries. The reputation of women's (lack of) rights in some. I remember reading a story about singer Ashanti, being rushed by several male audience members as she performed. Those men seemed wild. Maybe Ashanti could have toned down her attire and/or dance for whatever their culture dictated, but the overall sentiment from this American's view, is "d*mn y'all cain't control yourselves for a simple as* concert?"😡😡🤔🤔🤔

@@lql1094 I get it. But it’s like me making judgement on the entire USA because of the violence in Chicago, the attacks on women at the Puerto Rican parade in NYC, or Freaknik, the entire state of Florida’s laws, and the child marriages that are still legal and happening in the Midwest. If you only focus on the negative, you’ll miss out on the beauty many places possess. There are over 50 countries on the continent, you have options.

I got married in Nigeria and spent 2 months in the village for my honeymoon. It was hard and different...BUT I LOVED IT! I would prefer to build a house in the village where my husband's Tribe lives. Life is peaceful and simple. I bathed out the well and cooked on the gas. We slept on a mattress on the floor and washed clothes in a bucket. I loved the people and the culture, but mostly being surrounded by people who looked just like me! No racism and no police brutality. Nobody is going to kill us based on the color of our skin.

This is the perfect place to return to in Africa. As an American African I can't return unless I trust the leadership. And Tanzania has one of the strongest and smartest leaders on the continent. Like traveling Sista has mentioned for herself, my mental needs to be ready first before the return. Also I have a warrior spirit and I need to make sure my people here in America are ok before I leave them. Times in America right now are very troubling for us and I can't just turn my back on them now. I'll die for my people before I allow them to suffer in my absence. An excellent interview on many wide ranging but pertinent topics. To those who desire to return, please go with open minds to adapt. Learn the language, embraced the culture and DO NOT disrespect the natives. Leave all dirty habits and attitudes behind. On your return, open new businesses, employ natives and help to drive the economies and raise living standards. Africans on the continent do not become westernised. The sister mention the abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables. The problem nowadays is that too many native Africans are changing their eating habits. The rapid lifestyle shift to eating junk foods increased the burden on one’s health. Eat healthy and stay healthy. Enjoy the flora and fauna. Respect and blessings from the Caribbean.

Glad she also touched on the job situation. Basically, come with your own money or apply for jobs with the local government, radio/tv stations and embassies. Or just like everyone else, start your own KZbin/Instagram page to make money online. On that, I'd say it's easier to get jobs (especially part time) here in America or abroad but not in African countries. To start a business also can be a little tricky because you need to figure out where or who your market will be down there... Most foreigners start travel agencies and hotel businesses where they showcase the local culture to other foreign tourists. And in Africa if you're a 'muzungu' then the locals don't bother too much with your papers like they'd do abroad. Lol

no body's will going to be a homeless in Africa ,becuz many Africa Countries if you don't have money to buy land just try to go villages the alkalo will give you free land you can build a house , That is tradition many villages in Africa you can have free land from community leader . In big city no but many villages yes That's why I said no one will be come homeless in Africa.
@bellaolum95154 жыл бұрын
in my country, people have ancestral land in the countryside, you can never be homeless unless by choice you decide to stay in the city

That is not true!People inherit ancestral land that is passed down from generations. Every piece of land belongs to someone !The biggest cause of fighting in Africa is over land ownership and it can be deadly!
@Caribbeanprincess13 жыл бұрын
@@josephbrown1573 Do you understand the term "CONTEXTUAL"???? .....let that sink in!!! there's always anomaly. fighting over land is not the "norm" in rural villages.
