Sometimes actually pay more to live in NYC looks dumb, but being in a expensive place that u feel good, is better then having money on the bank and buy more things to fulfill the blanket espace on your head, i think u guys did the right move, going to NYC in this moment with a lot of the rents reduction, knowing this channel from this video, love it

Thanks for your answers and I can definitely relate to the feeling of being on a Saturday and start thinking " Holy Cow, on Monday I need to start working again". i only just graduated and started working full time this year in FMCG and my mom's already telling me to start thinking about getting an mba LOL ive thought about eventually moving into consulting (possibly strategy or continue in operations/SAP) but i feel like i would never pass something like the airport test haha

Out of all my friends that moved to New York, no one still lives there. They moved back to Cali after a year or two, and I called it. NY is cool but being raised in California its hard to leave. Wishing well and stay safe

How could I demonstrate analytical horsepower to management consulting firms, if you have a relatively low GPA (I had a bad year three years ago)? Could a high GRE score, grades in a masters program do this?

Those are helpful, as well as doing well on your quantitative exam (usually done during the application process for large consulting firms)

How are you so sure that you love your job? Have you ever thought about doing something else?

It took me a while to find it! But I love the company culture and feel satisfied with the type of work and impact I have. There are obviously still days when I feel frustrated or apathetic about certain things, but no job is going to be 100% perfect. I don't currently foresee major changes in my career down the line, but am always open to what's to come.
