I use my lemondrop with my microfreak. I usually run the Arp function on the freak to control the lemondrop. I have had my lemondrop for a year, and have created amazing soundscapes with the freak and lemondrop. The ultimate ambient soundscape duo, in my opinion.

I love granular synthesis but I find the extra harmonic content produced by it can be a double-edged knife, often requiring filter & or EQ treatments once it’s sitting in the mix.

This is one of those times where it would be kind of smart to utilize some outsourced manufacturing. It be cool to see some of this kind of software in one those portable handheld’s. I’m happy to see this. The price is still out of reach for most everyone. And the limited production doesn’t help matters. I’m happy to see all the time going into the software. Seems like there could be a range of different case material options. As well as modular add-ons, based on price point. The price goes up, the quality goes up, the more parts are made locally. Give people options. Just ideas for brands like this. Happy to see it even happening. Much love for sharing their work

The answer would be to get some people to work on combining LMN3 (sequencer) and Zynthian (synthesis engine) into to same device package. The software is open source, and the processor hardware is Raspberry Pi based. That would be one potential way to have big sound in a tiny portable unit, and it supports the use of VSTs in addition to any of its own integrated soft-synths. Check examples of those out, as most demos are pretty neat. If they can be made to work together nicely, that may make for the best low-cost option. (In theory anyone could produce the devices, but cost, quality, and hardware UI could vary.)

Which is Pure Data based and free. But now it seems to be gone. Just curious to why you deleted my comment? @@nevets68 You don't have to run Pure Data patches on a "regular" computer. There are numerous devices that will let you upload Pure Data patches to the device and it will act like any other synth. Like for example Organelle and Bela. Or simply use a Raspberry Pi with a midi controller. No it's not just a "software sampler". Since you comment something like that I assume you have no idea what you are talking about, so it's probably pretty pointless to explain it to you ;)

I have both and they are completely different things. The Microfreak can't do what this does.

Dr mix already has the whole 'look at all my rings while I used a synth' thing down pat Does it bother you you have to copy your personality off of other youtubers?

It's okay to admit you were hoping anyone who sees yr videos has no idea about Dr Mix. But we do know about Dr Mix, and we know you copied him. Say what you want about teachers, but you still express no originality with your content

@@kidkique besides your silly idea that dr mix has a copyright on wearing rings and the fact that the synth is different from what dr mix puts on his channel, and the fact that basically all synth review videos do essentially the same stuff, you miss the point that life is about having fun, not about trying too hard to seem "different" from other people.
