Let me clarify I am not saying that those who have altars inside are not evolved. I’m saying I evolved past mine. I’ve had it for over 20 years! another reason it was time for me to dismantle the boveda: IT’S NOT MY CULTURE. I’m not French or Latina (where those altars are more prevalent). My ancestors did not have an Allan Kardec (founder of the boveda) altar. It was good while it lasted for me, but NOT MANDATORY!
@MarajMoonChild17 күн бұрын
I've taken my altars down so many times over the years. I do all of my work in nature and since we are our ancestors and their DNA passes through us, I've always questioned why it was not considered that our bodies are our altars and temples. We are physically, chemically, and spiritually direct links to our ancestors.

Yes traditions has runnit course. What we do outside is what we can do inside and many are doing too much when our kemetic Ancestors made it clear and simple to reach out higher self ,it about you being gods and goddesses and that means everything will come as you request it as electromagnetic beings

Feelings is an extraordinary gift from God and we are entitled to have them. Though decisions should almost NEVER be made based on feelings that are sure to pass. You sit with your feelings, acknowledge the cause of those feelings and then with logic because most of us are gifted with God-given intellect you make the decision that you believe will benefit you and others most. And maybe think of 2 or more best case scenarios and then push towards that. Imagine telling children don't worry about right or wrong and to just do what you feel, or God who gave us the eyesight we enjoy telling mankind don't concern yourself with right or wrong but rather do as you feel. Now the devil 😈 who'd love to see us ruined as he is destined to be would definitely direct mankind to ignore right from wrong and just do as you feel. I share because unlike the devil I'd actually want us to enjoy each other's smiles in God's paradise after this rough journey called life is said and done.
@jmthoughts914 күн бұрын
@ErieShay all I'm saying is humanity has a history with God it's no denying that. And there has never been in the history of humanity a human who says and lives by forget God's way I have this other way, and actually benefitted from such a decision. Though history has proven all who have made such a choice was utterly ruined. Again I care even if you don't recognize what I'm saying for your benefit as you share knowledge too for the benefit of others. May we continue to grow together despite our differences. And that's my point exactly, there can't be a benefit to do and say what we want because we know that's something even a kid can do. Because we are adults and intelligent we understand despite we have freewill to say and do what we want we push towards that decision which is best for everyone that decision affects because we are healthy-minded adults who are striving to enter God's paradise knowing soon we'll leave all of this in this life behind and headed towards eternity. Eternity shall be based on the evidence in our book of deeds, which is the choices we made throughout our days.

HOW TO RESPECTFULLY DISMANTLE AN ALTAR: 1. Pray and say aloud what you are doing and why explain why letting your court know that prayer and communion will now take the place of invocation at a table. 2 Glasses of water candles can all go into recycle bin. The dolls and extra items are all in a box in my garage. Just didn’t feel right anymore in the pit of my gut. 🤢The taste for Spiritism in that way was taken out of my mouth (and I feel just as intuitive). Instead of digging for answers and specifics, I pay attention to my dreams and revelations.

This came at the perfect time for me. I thought I wanted to do an ancestor altar and started light for about a month with offerings and what not. When I felt nothing was moving, and even questioned the energy I was feeling at times, I apologized and moved on. A lot of my ancestors lived a rough/fast life and probably are at the most peace they have been. I think they just want to be left alone even though here on earth, they were about their family, and I get that. You put things into perspective. Now I will pray from the top and allow dispatch according to what is best.

I had a similar epiphany this year. there are honestly so many things I no longer care for when it comes to spirituality. Within this era of increased access into people life, so much is aesthetics vs. heart. I was so caught up in having all the things, but struggled to connect more deeply to God. After incorporating many of the thing you spoke of i.e., cleaner home, and a deeper connection to nature, I feel more closer to God and my ancestors than I ever did. Thanks for sharing and teaching us.. I appreciate you always!
@AdunolatheOracle17 күн бұрын
Yes. The things that bring us closer to God are usually simpler than we make them.
@figmentsofinfatuation_17 күн бұрын
Absolutely. I had a dream that confirmed this about a week ago. We’re not supposed to be using our Ancestors to fight for us or do our dirty work at all. I had somebody’s ancestors try to come to me in a dream and attack me and they were stopped because of my protection, but whoever sent them after me had the nerve to try and sick a younger child ancestor spirit on me too, and the ancestors were talking amongst each other like no stop she’s of the spirit in regards to attacking me and I felt so disappointed that they tried to drag this innocent child spirit with them to do their dirty work. So instead of retaliating, I prayed that their souls finally rest because don’t bring a child into adults business, especially a passed on one. Ultimately what I got from that dream is that calling on your ancestors is selfish because your ancestors are passed on and they need to rest and they need to find peace and they need to make their way to the other side instead of being used to do your dirty work and bidding in the human realm. We arent supposed to be summoning them and using them, but praying for their healing and safe passage back to God.

Spot on! What I get from this message is…”In all that we do in our practice as it relates to our Ancestors, Guides, Orisha, LWA, where are we making space for Mother/Father Source who created our Ancestors, Guides, Orisha and LWA?” I practice Hoodoo, and work with a few LWA, but I NEVER lost my connection to The Most High. For me “The Most High” would be somewhat reflective of “God of The Bible” but in a non religious way. Regardless though, I knew I needed to maintain THAT connection or I felt a distinct emptiness. I hope people walk away with, what I see as the true message of this video. It’s not about taking down a Boveda or any altar. It’s about knowing the outward expressions of all we do needs to be rooted to something beyond the physical. That being Source! I tried the Boveda thing years ago- too many glasses of water to tend to and just TOO MUCH! I now have a small set up on top my refrigerator for my Ancestors, with 2 pictures a glass a water and a white tea light candle. I recite Psalm 23 for them, tell them I luv them and keep it moving. I don’t even give them food offerings. Not against it, just never felt the need too- and it’s still fine! The practice, or the ritual is to point to the Higher Consciousness and the Deeper Awareness within, not to preform for the sake of the ritual. Thank you for this elevated message! Blessings!

I find that i dont like to dabble to much in different tools and such bc i dont like to utilize things i dont understand. Ive stopped using tarot not bc im like super christian but bc i dont understand the origins or intentions behind the symbols etc. Spiritual gifts run in my family and i am blessed to have been protected as i was gathering these lessons. Information noted. Leaves me thinking that no rituals, Catholic or otherwise are necessary for spiritual elevation. It's about grounding yourself in spirit, however it manifests within you. However occasional reference to ritual is not harmful. Some of these things I grew up with. Cleaniless is next to Godliness. Home cleansing was a daily chore. Personal hygiene was a top priority. Clean environment and community was on point. Personal and community spiritually has taken a deep dive presently. And remember Spiritually is life, culture, concious healthy habits that support and sustain our physical and mental health which also includes some rituals. Blessings!

This is great advice. You're right, we need to keep evolving. My ancestors told me recently that they love it when I also share the happy things that happen in my life. No need for a special place in the house, when YOU are connected. A special place helps as a reminder maybe, for those who don't live a spiritual life ✨️ But even then a candle and a prayer are most appreciated. No need for elaborate food and drink fest 😊 My ancestors (Cetic-Germanic) also honored the ancestors in nature. And only left food offerings on special feast days. The fact that they were very cautious to draw spirits of any kind in their houses, is found through all the now called "superstitious" traditions of drawing protective runes or markings on the house and barns, horseshoes above doors, burying witch bottles, protecting the chimney, covering mirrors when someone deceased. And the advice to cross a body of water when you thought a (nature) spirit might have attached itself to you. And there are many more examples found in folklore and elf lore.

Having an Opa Iku makes you certain that you indeed have your own Egun coming thru. Casting to them with Obi insures you don’t need to wait on “a sign” and get the message you need direct. Opa iku is made from nature

Thank Iya for sharing this! I felt called to take down all my alters in 2022 and start treating my body as the main and only altar!!! I completely resonate with this message. Thank you!

Your spiritual life should reflect in our acts towards ourselves and others. Our spirit team and God loves when we do well in this way. Im glad that you followed your gut.

Good for you 👍🏽 go directly to God who hears all things is the ONE who will truly aid you through life. Sorta why God designed different difficulties in our lives so that it almost compels us to seek help from God. Without difficulties or trials why would we ever need God or His forgiveness ❤

Thank you for confirmation! I moves in a new home this year! I was excited and wanted to make an alter! I have had to clean my home a few times just to remove whatever energy was here. The home had had a different type of energy that has had me a little unsettled! Over time it has gotten better with cleaning energy, and this was definitely confirmation in regards to me placing an alter in my home! Thank you 🙏🏾🌈🦋💙

As a Priestess in the Lucumi tradition, in which Bóvedas are almost required for every initiate, I complete agree with this. There’s definitely levels to this. Not everyone is a Spiritist and most of our ancestors want nothing to do with what we practice. Thank you for sharing this.

I appreciate you sharing this... because as a woman who hasn't been initiated, I always thought this, EVERYTHING you shared I have always expressed, however, I didn't want to offend anyone. Wow!❤❤❤ I'm so glad I trusted you, your energy has always been pure and I love you for that.
