I'm a guy and I paint my nails. Have done on and off, more on really. Admittedly I am a gay guy and I wear all colors even pink and glittery ones, I just like the look of my nails with color, feels weird and boring when I take it off, but I give my nails a break sometimes. I'm 38 now and to be honest I do get stares from people when I wear it but I'm used to people staring at me, I've been quite flamboyant since being a teen, wore make up in the past, sometimes wore female clothes etc and got stared at and that was 20+ years ago. So yeah I'm used to it. I have had the odd nice comment like "nice nails" or "what is the color" things like that but unfortunately they are few and far between. Mostly it's confused stares from people like they cannot understand why a male wears nail varnish. But I don't care I'm just being me and no one is going to put me off.
