This was great. I played D&D back in the 80's as a kid, then stopped as a "grownup" for almost 25 years. Only got back into it five years ago, and am presently running two campaigns on a weekly basis. You're never too old to play make believe with friends. 🙂

I'm in my 50's but in my early 20's late teens i played dnd with my friends. I was the "forever dm" of our group and it was great fun. I don't play any more tho i do miss it from time to time....alwatys cherish these moments in your youth

I've started playing when I was 9 back in the early 80s, and I immediately knew I wanted to play the DM. Now, as an older man, I'm still playing and still daydreaming about it

Nice job! I've been a D&D player since 1981, and am so glad to see the tradition continue.

A very well done documentary on D&D and why we love to play the game. Really enjoyed it!

When I was a kid I started plaing during the height of the satanic panic. My parents made me throw out my D&D books, so I just threw away a couple of random books, they couldn't tell the difference. I went to college at Michigan State University and actually found and goofed around in the steam tunnels where they (falsely) claimed Dallas Egbert killed himself.

Nice video, you deserve more views! I’ve been watching sorta a lot of D&D videos lately (despite never having played) because I world build for my own personal fun and D&D is a great inspiration for something like that. Creating characters, places, lore, etc. is really fun. Also, your video looks very authentic and I like it!

been playing D&D since I was 8. Got into it with my Dad , started with 1st Edition D&D. That was the only D&D I knew until I played the old Baldurs Gate games which ran on 2nd ed. Then 3.0 I played both on tabletop and via NWN. Same for 3.5 with NWN 2 and table top. Pathfinder, skipped 4th edition, now a days I tried pathfinder 2nd Ed and its good but I still prefer 5e.

It's kind of a combo of poker night plus book club plus playing make believe.

Very charming video. You could have easily made it longer and it would still be good.

As a point of critical feedback...the sound balancing was out of proportion. Your own narration and those of the interviews were inconsistent, and with some of the speakers it was very difficult to hear without turning them up to 11. I hope you are able to play for as often and for as long as you like. It's a hobby without peer!
